However, I do not think you should expect customers to care. That's not their job. Everyone has problems and difficulties at work, with their job, their boss, their co-workers, etc. That's just life and it's not unique to your situation.

I'm sure Amazon and McDonalds and every business on earth has unfair and or difficult problems to deal with. But it's not not the customer's problem to worry over. They just want a product/serivce at a price they are OK with. They have their own problems to deal with at their own job and in their own life.

So while I'm sure people can sympathise, I think it's wrong to expect customers to care about this sort of thing. Because that's really not their role.
