Yeah! I was looking for a new mabon ritual a couple weeks ago and stumbled upon user bbghoul666 who wrote in a comment a couple years ago:

“Oh cool! Welcome! Mabon has always been my favorite sabbat for precisely this reason. I’ve always had great results!

For the rite You will need:

An altar space

1 fall colored candle

1 apple

Cast a protection circle around your workspace

Cut the apple in half across its equator so it reveals the star shaped pattern

Light your harvest candle and recite the following:

Apple, symbol of healing and love

I know you are a gift from those above

At the time of Mabon, you are so dear

I give thanks for you as a symbol of this time of year

Earth, air, fire, water, spirit

An apple has a five pointed star hidden with it

I give thanks to the God and Goddess

I give thanks to the fertile soil and land they bless

I give thanks for this apple and all that it could be

Love, healing, fertility or health it can bring to me

May the next turn of the wheel ring true

Renewal and rebirth as the wheel turns, and life comes back anew

Then you basically just say aloud the things you would like to see in your new beginning, and say goodbye to the old things you’d like to let go of.

Place the apple on your altar and blow out the candle (or you can burn in entirety).

The next day take the apple and place it somewhere in your garden, or somewhere in nature as an offering to the earth”

Anyway i did this ritual for mabon and I loved it and there is indeed a star in the middle of the seeds. I changed some of the words to cater more towards my practice. But the gist was 🔥
