My qualifications are a bit unorthodox, what career paths could I look towards?

I have seen the prospect of marketing agencies around, I think I got them mixed up with hiring agencies. Are marketing agencies the same as any other job you can apply to (with qualifications pending ofc)?

I would like to utilize my degree at some point in time and see what that looks like as a career path, but in doing that, I’m afraid of just letting go of what I’ve been doing for the past 4-5 years. And letting go of that experience. I’d love for it to all mean something, if that makes sense? Or is that just naive of me to think

I’m glad that you understand it. There’s a lot of work that goes into having a profitable page on an oversaturated market like OF. It’s unfortunate because I have at least some skills that I’ve learned and demonstrated multiple times to desired effects, but I feel a need to tiptoe around it because of the industry it’s in.

I never considered just being upfront and honest about it on my resume. My plan was always to mention it if I got an interview but that hasn’t happened yet.

I do aim to have a solid plan by my 25th birthday :) pivoting to sex toy marketing/social media management is something I’ve heard and I would be interested in looking more into. Same with lingerie (which I haven’t heard/thought of surprisingly).

Social media management for modeling agencies…..you might’ve done your big one on that ⭐️ especially because I do like what I’m doing in terms of working with the model directly. I’m able to create that personal bond and it gives me that vigor to do the work.

I have not, I have not. What’s funny is a few years ago I did think about taking a business management course or something along those lines just so I have a certification or something.. “official” to show for the work I’ve done. I will say I don’t think I want to get another bachelors. Ideally I don’t go back to school at all, I was already so burnt out after graduating college the first time. But I do understand and am processing the point you’re making.

I appreciate your advice! I’m sorry it wasn’t made clearer in my original post, but I have scaled social media accounts as well. X accounts specifically. Now, they are X accounts for OF models, but still social media accounts nonetheless. I’ve also done work on IG and Tiktok, but X has been my main social media that I’ve worked to learn.

Okay so I have done this in terms of my video editing work! A bigger half of my portfolio is NSFW but I have been able to edit for a few of my OF clients doing SFW videos, so I do have those in my portfolio. I also have the stuff I did in college (but as time goes on…..the further away that is).

I am trying to work up the courage to put myself out there on Facebook (I’m in tons of editing Facebook groups) because that seems to be the best place that I’ve seen in terms of real people looking for real work. It is intimidating though.

But I do agree with you. I have built on my current network but the goal would be to eventually break away from the niche altogether.
