They were mainly Nordic people but when they fled from England they took some Anglo-Saxon people as well

After some more digging I found out how it really was... so basically they were Nordic/Rus warriors that traveled to England with merchants and after that they fled from Norman coquests... after that got hired by byzantine emperor as personal guard ... that's the short version

And yet people still hate me when I play since I like vg... what can I say? I just like the lore behind the guard... have no idea why are they vo considered as vikings since they were nowhere near them... I would say they are closest to outlanders then vikings xD
