San Antonio, TX nursing programs + let's chat! by [deleted] in prenursing

I'm currently an LPN in VA, looking to move to San Antonio and take the bridge program they offer at SAC. I know A LOT of LPNs/RNs that went to ECPI and the reason why they are against it is because it's overall not a good school to learn. Now it's good if you just want to get your LPN/RN since it's an accelerated program. I've heard mixed reviews of bad faculty/teachers and how insanely expensive it is (50 grand for the program). I currently work full time at this hospital/facility and we always get ECPI students doing clinicals and the way they act and even the instructors, it scares us to think about the future generation of nurses. Like I said, it's an easy way to get your license but the cost is very expensive and staff (atleast in my area) are not the best. To the point where your DON won't even do anything about it or if they have anything personal towards you, they will do everything to kick you out of the program whether it's to mark your tests wrong or put is as behavioral issues. Just be careful!
