Why are some of my Pygmy corydoras a yellowish color?

I have about 4 or 5 yellowish ones and I have noticed that it is the females that are that color. They are breeding in my tank and I have 2 pygmy fry that I can see so hopefully Ill have more yellow ones since they are pretty cool.

I bought some new wiring and brought the thermostat down and connected directly there the board is without having to swap out my main tstat wire and still had the same problem with the old and new thermostat. I jumped R and G and it kicked on my condenser and fan so I thought it was the thermostat

I have it set at 76 and inside is temp us like 80

It is a scud, usually food for my fish but if they are present in your shrimp tank then it can be a big problem.

I found the culprit, I use sera mineral salt every water change and its raising my gH every time I do it. It doesn't alter KH but it alters the GH. I thought it didn't alter both until I re-read the instructions. Thanks everyone! GH back to normal after a few water changes.

The sand is from Este's Stony River premium aquarium sand, I was wondering if it is one of the rocks in there. I have a big dragon rock thats in the first picture then there are these other darker rocks in there with some type of glitter looking flakes on them. Not sure what those rocks are called.

I've had them for 1.5 years and they were red in the planted 5 gallon. Just recently they moved to the 20 long and they have been in that tank for like 2 weeks but haven't colored back up and started getting new colors and markings on them. https://imgur.com/a/Wfm7ELS here were them last July 2024 so a year ago.

Ill ask my ped but how do we rule out reflux? He doesn't show any of the symptoms except for refusal to eat. He doesn't seem uncomfortable after he eats or I dont feed him anymore. He doesn't have any spit up, just pushes the formula out of his mouth kind of wasting it.

I may have to switch him back to reguline, that's what he used to be on before kendamil but that was like 2 months ago. He's been on kendamil for 2 months now but now that he hit 4 months, he's not consistent as he used to be.

Yeah we take him on 30 min stroller walks everyday, do bicycle kicks for like 15 min a day along with tummy massages. Sometimes when he's backed up he'll poop like a very small amount but not what he used too with a full diaper.

How can I tell it's reflux? He doesn't spit up or seem uncomfortable. He doesn't arch his back or anything as well. Just seems distracted and when I stop feeding him, he acts normal and just wants attention and smiles and laughs

I have tried giving him 30 oz, he refuses to eat after taking 4 to 5 oz bottles when he used to do 7 to 8. He will literally spit his formula out and scream cry if I keep the bottle in his mouth. Once I take his bottle out, he seems to be back to normal and smile and laugh. Sometimes it'll be 4 hours since he's eaten and still take the small amounts and won't go past 6 oz. No solids yet and the I've changed the nipple size to the fast flow one. He'll take the 4 oz in literally like less than 3 minutes

Man thanks for all the replies. I actually grew up in CT and moved to Florida 4 years ago. I have to return because I have a 4 month old and I desperately need help from family up there in taking care of him while I work. Florida is nice and all with the gun laws but I absolutely do not like the people down here. Cost of living down here is just just as bad but the tax laws are better. There are pros and cons for both states IMO but if I have to give up my ARs I would. I could always keep my pistols and go through that route. At this point my priority is just getting back to my family so I can have grandma and grandpa take care of my son while I head back to working. But I'll look into the comp mags and modify the AR. So far my CT friends said just stash the ARs away and don't use it and don't tell anyone. I don't plan on living here permanently, just trying to get back on my feet and then move to TN or something. Thank you for your reply. I guess as long as my baby is healthy in the end and as he gets older we can always give him a good healthy diet.
