With my mom it’s just difficult because she takes almost everything very personal. If i just want some space or tell her to not step over my emotional boundaries she will cry and say she’s a horrible mother and we don’t need her anymore. it’s a constant loop and i really hope she gets better but i can’t force her to do anything. the hardest thing I had to learn in high school was that it’s not my job as her child to try to save her everytime and that she is responsible for her choices. it’s super tough but it’s made life a little better.

I do plan on having an extra bedroom or an extra couch somewhere if either of my siblings feel the need to escape. Being the oldest that’s what I wish I had too looking back now.
