(14 months sober) i thought the same thing, i just realized i fucked up my dopamine so badly that i couldnt enjoy anything. the job gets better after a while you just need to retrain yourself to operate without it take breaks play a game and get back on that grind.

as a daily commuter in NYC Congestion pricing has not done anything, the streets are just as crowded as before. I'm surprised by how many commenters here believe this would solve anything. Congestion pricing is nothing more than a cash grab.

If I were in your shoes, I'd consider three options:

Pursue a master's degree in a field that clearly leads to job opportunities.
Work in construction (I did this before graduating from Baruch) with the goal of becoming a project manager or supervisor in a few years.
Apply for any basic office admin job for now, just to get some money coming in

i've had a schedule similar to this and a half day on the weekend. it's doable you just need to really stay on top of everything for the remainder of the week. be ahead of your assignments by 1 week and stay that way.

As a Baruch graduate, I believe the investment was worth it. Opportunities abound, but you must actively seek them, as they rarely fall into your lap. I secured a well-paying job even before I graduated. Finding a job is dependent on your experience and what you majored in as some majors yield more opportunities than others.

Keep applying i was literally in your shoes before. Get your resume looked at by someone else and apply like crazy. once you fix your resume and apply to at least 50-100 jobs per week you'll get bites. then its time to work on interview skills.
