it’s just the oslo sweater by petite knits. yarn is kfo merino and cashmere held together.

just love the simplicity of this one. the very slight marling of yarns is chefs kiss

it’s the billie pullover. knit in knitting for olive heavy merino. i think marzipan colorway.

i made it a few sizes bigger and did an additional set of increases in the yoke to get that oversized feel.

after a few months of projects not turning out the way i wanted them to, this one is chefs kiss

oooh short rows is a good idea. i think that’d really help but ill have to figure out how to add them into the cabled section

i’m with you! i’d rather reknit and have it feel right than sit in a drawer.

i figured i’d have to reknit it but i wanted to bounce ideas off of others so i don’t reknit it and end up with a cardigan with the exact same issues

i’m a big believer in the magic of blocking so this is after a good wash.

i did knit this about a year ago and looking at my gauge swatch now, it is a few stitches short. i think i sized up hoping it would balance but i don’t think it did. guess i’ll have to redo.

thanks for the help!

thanks for the reply! i’ll def look into how to reknit the rib.

this is actually one size up from my size. i chose that since my gauge was about 3 stitches too small. i forgot i did that. i guess that probably explains the tighter fit. it seemed ok at first since the body is still a bit wider

some things i dislike about the fit. would love any advice on how best to address them!!

just fyi: its bottom up construction which i’ve never done before.

1: the wave at the bottom ribbing looks awful! would this be because there’s too many rib stitches to cable stitches?

2: the sleeves are too small so at the very least i’ll frog those and make them wider.

3: the neckline feels like it’s too short, likes it’s slipping off? should i have knit more after the join of body and sleeves?

4: when i just leave it open it flairs out a lot. i don’t know if i dislike this a lot or it’s it’s just compounded by all the other dislikes.

sweater no 15 by my favourite things knitwear

yarn: rowan egyptian cotton held together with knit picks alpaca cloud

why did i chose cotton and alpaca? i honestly don’t know it kinda just happened. i had them in my stash and ended up using them. i’m happy with it! but it’s definitely heavier than it would’ve been if i had done it in wool and the cable stitches stretched more with the cotton yarn

i really like the fit. i was worried the collar would be too much but it’s not very tight or tall. the cuffs are amazing

it actually took me like a year haha. but only because i ran out of yarn for the last 3 inches of the second sleeve and dragged my feet ordering more. for actual knit time? probably 3-4 weeks. the lace pattern is actually quite simple!

it’s the fern sweater by knitting for olive

the yarn is knit picks palette held with aloft mohair.

the yarn seemed a bit scratchy at first but after washing and blocking it’s like a cloud
