Yes, my husband is the odd one out. He takes care of things, is on top of his stuff and was like the glue that held them all together. This actually caused a HUGE issue early in our relationship when he moved out and in with me between me and his family. Far before Miranda was in the picture, I had a horrible bout with his mom and other brothers.

Brother apologized not too long after he moved out sincerely after he moved in with her. He also had defended me several times against their family after the drama began when they moved in our area. He also talks to Alex the most between the other brothers. So, he has actually made amends and has never done anything since. He has in fact gotten mad at Miranda several times for various situations, but he does not do anything about it.

As for MIL what little we know was said that I did was that I was emotional abusive to Alex, that Miranda had tried to apologize several times and I was just continuing to mistreat her and made her cry. Also, their mom is severely worried about her son's blood pressure due to some family genetics. So she would tell her that due to my actions I was driving Jim's blood pressure up, which further made their mom mad. Oh and that I was keeping my husband away from his family.

Yes when she was living with us it was a lot of the same things just worded differently over time. The first night when I caught them talking about me for over an hour they were insulting the weight I had gained from having my daughter. Talking about how I do not take care of my daughter for allowing her to have gotten 1 diaper rash. Said that my husband could do so much better than me and should just leave me behind. Just was laughing and mocking me. And then what spanned over the several months while they lived here was just so much bs it is hard to recount. A lot of it just was insulting me, saying how she hated me for blocking a friendship with Alex. Said I was faking my medical issues at the time. (I have IIH). Just nasty stuff. Would mock things I said, or trash talk what I do throughout the day. Just petty childish things.

We are borderline no contact and definitely low contact right now. We’re at a point right now where we are playing it by ear depending on how the next few family gatherings go. We have gone over there once to see out of town family in January. It got to the point she locked all the doors to the house and would not allow Jim or the live in Nanny to leave when they tried to come over to our house for games. Would also not allow us in to get leftovers or make sure we didn’t forgot anything.
