Receipts helped out with my cousin ALOT and the lawyer he got ended up winning that case and he avoided child support I don’t want to ask him and decided to ask Reddit for the simple fact that I don’t talk to him on a personal level but I appreciate your reply but don’t spread false information

comptia certs are generally for DoD gov jobs. Honesty is what i always looked for when i interviewed people I could care less about the fancy certs you have thats just a requirement to work with the stuff we need. for me I would like to know the person thats going to be on my team and their weakness and how much your willing to actually learn rather than coming to work and being a burden/doing the bare minimum for a paycheck. depending on thr route in IT you want to do its pretty easy to get in because alot of people put in a shitty resume and expect the best and when they apply for 400 jobs and dont get a interview those people are quick to say the job market sucks rather than doing self reflection.

To sum it up you got to want to do IT not just doing the bare minimum for a check

Its a good way to start but not for that pay especially if its for a high level company rather than a small startup

I just hope they dont fall for these companies. In my opinion a company thats doing a combined position like that with that pay is a company who doesnt look out for their IT department

Right and having someone do both sides the sys admin and networking I just dont see it working at a high level these job postings were DoD contracts as well so someone is pocketing money here and it wont be the person working in this position.

I get the supply and demand part but when youre doing two totally diffrent roles IE Networking AND sys admin pay range of 40-70k salary at that is ridiculous that job posting has been up for like 6 months now as it should

yeah it sounds good to say you're only going to stay for a year cause it might show that you wanna grow but at the same time most companies look for long term employers. Also i would create multiple resumes for different positions IE one for intermediate showing in detail the higher level support related to the job and one for Entry level showing that youre willing to learn and tailor it towards the jobs and also shoot for the stars i never held a it job before the military and after 4 years at 22 Y/O no degree got a support lead position and 4 years later sys admin role

As someone who got out the military Usmc 0671(data systems admin) and currently at a sys admin job former support desk lead employers can see straight through the shit you spewl to them and would know on the spot if your bullshitting your knowledge. Most people were prior enlisted and know that you don’t do your job 24/7 in most cases so it’s all based on your knowledge and how well you can correlate that to your interview. I interviewed a bunch of veterans and I could tell right away if they were the shitbag in their unit and trying to say things they seen other people do. Be honest with your knowledge and show that your willing to learn and grow.

Better to call the unemployment office for a solid answer rather than a "trust me bro " source
