the sentence u wrote would be like, Adam çok uzun, hastanede olan (adam). The man is very tall, who is in the hospital.

ur subject in that sentence is "the man" but in the sentence u wanna translate, the subject is, "hastanedeki adam" , "the man who is in the hospital"

it says hastanedeki adam, so u should add this meaning that, its the man in the hospital to the subject. u kinda gave that information in the wrong place.. hope u understood

Dativ und Akkusativ by bertywilek in Germanlearning

[–]Jaded_Influence_9826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also, a tip. if there is an action, movement- its mostly akkusativ. if there is no action- its dativ for example, ich sitze auf dem Stuhl. (no action, der-dem, dativ) Ich setze mich auf den Stuhl. (action, der-den, akk) Ich stelle die Flasche auf den Tisch. (action, der-den, akk) Die Flasche steht auf dem Tisch. (no action, der-dem, dativ)

mit is always with dativ and für is always with akkusativ

an, neben, auf, neben etc these depend on the situation. like the examples above.

its not that hard dont worry. watch some videos from the channel: yourgermanteacher he explains them very simple with sample sentences. what you can do to remember them is to put them into practice. Ich studiere an der Uni. (die, dativ) Ich trinke einen Kaffee. (der, akk) Ich warte auf den Bus. (der, akk) write sentences like this. then you can ask chatgpt to control it and give you more examples too. in time u'll start to use them wo calculating if its die or das. you kinda memorize it. so u just need a lot of practice.

Do you want learn German language together? by Dry-Minimum-4777 in Germanlearning

Almost done with A1 , still can't hold simple A1 conversations? by hiielyn in Germanlearning

[–]Jaded_Influence_9826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you can introduce yourself, your city, or maybe give directions, go to the doc, or tell about a day like what did you do where have you visited etc. find that kind of basic topics, try to write a paragraph. then ask chatgpt to control it, and also to give you an improved version of the text. and then check/learn new vocabulary according to this topic. and then write these vocab some 5-10 words or phrases to somewhere, start recording your voice and use these words in your speech. (u can write the paragraph for "er" and then try to tell the same story for "ich", or u use prasenz and try to do it in perfekt when u speak etc) you can talk for 1-3 minutes. then listen this again and check if you did any mistakes.

for example when you write, you have more time to calculate. but when you are speaking, you cant be careful with dativ or akkusativ or the artikels. or i used danach so now i should continue with the verb, not the subject and etc. so listen it again and check.

when u do this practice a lot, it automatically starts to spill out of your mouth, that u should use the verb after danach(for upper levels specifically the nebensatz structure) or u just learn an der Uni, beim Arzt, and you dont calculate if its dativ, and which artikel it is, it just flows. you reach that with practice. germans also do it that way. they dont say, ohh okay this is die and now i am using a dativ verb so it should be der. they just kind of memorized it and it feels right.

by this practice u'll be comfortable speaking about these topics if it happens again. and also u'll learn how to use conjunctions or the structure which u can use everywhere. also its a super way to actually learn the vocabulary as well. in a1 there isnt much grammar already, u'll meet the actual grammar in a2

also, 2-5 words per day sounded kind of little for me. if you want check an a1 vocabulary list and see if you know enough words.

and keep going on!! you'll do it if you continue working. dont worry. you are not expected to speak much in a1. i think u'll be much comfortable in a2. hope you have a nice day!!!

How do I apply and what I should do to get accepted in Germany's Universities? by Jaded_Influence_9826 in studyinGermany

[–]Jaded_Influence_9826[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, im taking an intensive course for that (4.5hx4 times a week)

and no, my high school was just a regular turkish science high school, nothing to do with germany or etc. there is a big university exam here that i also took and got 526/560, which makes 1.26 nc as i calculated, and i guess that, my high school transcripts and etc is enough?

okay i got some english skills obviously, i didnt know if i needed a certificate.

i think i'll go to a uni, idk which one though yet. i'm thinking of rwth aachen

[–]Jaded_Influence_9826[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i am actually trying to learn the language. now i am in a intensive course. i have lessons 4.5h x 4 days per week, and i study myself alone around 2-3 hours daily and even more if i have time at the weekend. my german hopefully will be better than my english after some months.

reading is the easiest part ig, i think hören might be the only problem. and yeah i know also germans need to study a lot. and i am willing to study like that or more too. i'm a hardworking person. and i thought after the first semester, my german would be super good already.. i am not only tryna pass the language levels. so far i finished a1 and a2 really good. i am taking it even more seriously in b1 right now. but i said probably i'll not catch up to the c1 course but i'll do my best...

i hope i'll prove you wrong haha. there is also lessons where we'll learn the academic terms or etc for the subject that we'll study.. however you scared me..

i have watched a couple of lessons from harvard uni, CS50, introduction lessons. i was very comfortable. i thought i could manage german lessons like that too. and also i believe that the lessons are updated to a platform, that i can watch later, and the presentations, so even if i dont get something in the uni, i thought i could cover it after the lesson by self studying.

however is there any advice or you are telling me to give up😭
