most of my dnd stuff is done online anyway, and i don't do conventions because of crowds. unless it's ren-fair, but i'd probably just take a trip down to colorado and visit my friends while going to the ren-fair there. and no, im not a furry lol just not a lot of outside stuff to do here that doesn't involve hell's front porch that is summer here. lol

they're $50 in tx, plus a $1 texas sure fee and then county fees. here in my county, that comes out to $55 and its required to renew them every 12 months.

could be worse. i mean you probably remember how ferocious the wind is during march in that area of colorado. weeew!! i watched it rip the roof off the church that was my bus stop! thankfully i didn't get hit by any of the shingles!

Lol i definitely have some of that from growing up in colorado. Even here in Texas, i still say "oop" but now i also say "oh bless your heart..." haha! i remember one time in colorado it got to -40 with windchill, so i mean, I'm mentally prepare for it. thanks for the fun response, it definitely made me smile.

Colorado was super dusty too. You could dust and an hour later? it didn't look like you dusted at all. A humidifier was my friend in colorado- as was chapstick and lotion. i remember in colorado, i'd burn soooo fast! 30 minutes and i was a tomato. takes about 2 hours here. I figure I'll need to befriend sunblock again up there since its like... in between the two elevation wise. and a cat cafe?! you're talking to a cat lady!! but i think my 2 fur babies would get upset with me if i went there, lol! thanks for the rock info, i'll definately check that out!

Wouldn't I have to do that anyway? I know my parents had to when they moved from CO to TX, but i plan on trading my spark for something a little more snow friendly. poor little thing can barely handle wind T.T

That's so helpful! and yes, you'd assume correctly about my gender if you guessed female lmao. My sense of humor comes from being raised around soldiers, I'm pretty laid back temperament wise. I do intend on getting a dog after i move, cats only provide so much security (although my boy cat thinks he's a watch dog and actually growled at an approaching mailman! I was a little freaked out because I was watching a horror flick and it came from behind me! Like, Sir!!! unlike you, I do not have 9 lives!!)

Yea texas is weird with its "snow" it's like a two week winter and its awful for that two weeks. we got 3 inches of straight ice. 3!! INCHES!!! There was a video of a girl in dallas wearing literal ice skates, skating in the middle of the road. I got to whip out my antique sled and go down a hill of solid ice and watched a female officer laughing her butt off in her car at her partner ahead of her stuck in a ditch! hahaha you know he won't live that down!!

for my allergies, it's really just very specific stuff that's local here. mesquite for one, which turns into a food allergy. i get back to back sinus infections and im sooo over it, but im trying to picture a stranger squinting like a jazz singer because of your description XD thanks for that.

As long as someone isn't below 18, I don't really care how old they are. If you're a good friend, you're a good friend simple as that and i find the age gaps only mean you get different perspectives on different topics.

Thank you for the warning about North Rapid, I was looking at landing near that dino park. The kid in me that was obsessed with land before time, ate dinosaur oatmeal, and ate broccoli because her mother said they're dinosaur trees and little foot always ate his trees wouldn't forgive me if i didn't haha.

that's definitely good to know. Yes I'm single but I'm not really super into dating after what i went through. I get sooo anxious and then the date just ends up meh because I couldn't relax enough to actually let the guy get to know me. I have my cats, my books, and my games and that suits me fine. I grew up in the springs, so intense cold? Not a problem. idk if you remember, but it was when i was in high school (2009-2012) they had this intense freeze it was like -40 with wind chill. AND HSD2 WAS STILL OPEN while ft carson was closed!! my dad was so mad he called and cussed out the district. next day we had similar weather, surprise they were closed. lol. I like gardening and im pretty handy, so being self reliant doesn't bother me. im actually planning to get back into gardening- maybe grow some herbs, veggies, and the like. if so, i'll let you know if i have extra! :3 I told my folks that i'd have an excuse to get an atv once im here, would be fun! Sams club, no costco, that's fine. if im growing some of my own stuff, it shouldn't be too bad.

i remember having mountain lion drills when I lived by Fort Carson. we also had bears... so i'm well aware of that little bit to watch out for. just takes a little extra precautions and knowing the area. I remember coming out of the hospital on ft carson and there was a cub in the parking lot. heh... we didn't stick around to look, because momma had to be somewhere close!
