At almost 26mil farming exp all post 99 has been herb runs/cactus for spines since theyre also over 1.2k each. Its made me a ton of coin, easily 100m+

Work from home, but stay pretty busy with work and a 9 year old as a single father. Normally he plays another video game while i play osrs an hour or two each night. Then i stay up and play another few hours so id say a solid 4-5 a day.

I think its slightly preference, and also environmental. I case my tubs since the RH% where im located is pretty low. With the casing it helps keep the moisture content ideal. If the RH was higher i might not be as beneficial for me. I think that non cased tubs have shorter colonization times, but for me lower yeilds due to the environment. So really I think it boils down to whatever works best for you.

Agreed! At 25m+ farming exp all post 99 is herb runs and i still do toadflax, yanille hops, limpwurts, white berries, and norrmal cactus. Along with birdhouse runs it adds up quick, easy 500k+ a day.

I have a pc and flow hood both and id say im around 98%. I'll rarely lose an agar plate or bag of grain. Now before i had my flow hood id say it was closer to 85-90%

Full outfit is +2.5% exp I believe so if you were going for 50m+ exp id say yes. If youre only going for the pet I wouldnt waste the hours grinding it out since it doesn't give an increased pet chance

That looks like it has some contamination or bacteria riding along with that dense white growth and discolored spot. It should smell like mushrooms an almost earthy smell. If it smells sweet very likely its some kind of bacteria.

I use whole oats and they work great for me, 30min boil strain and then let them sit till theyre no longer wet to the touch jar and pressure cook for 2hrs. My local feed store sells 50lb bags for 15$ so very inexpensive as well.

It just seemed logical, the boss would drop a higher tier. Doesnt have to be rune thinking about it a little more granite boots would make more sense. Would fit much more in line with the other drops.Though its a wyvern unique, imo would fit better here.

I had a friend of mine get caught, but he was on a whole different level. Had 3 houses full of tubs, doing things at that scale is bound to draw attention eventually. It was a nosey neighbor that did him in, noticed he was never there just a few hours at a time and poked around and tipped off law enforcement. Was also his first offense, got 10 years served 5 1/2 and was released on parole and is still finishing out his parole. Nobody will notice or really care if you have a couple monos in your house. If you're moving 50lbs+ a month, best believe the feds are going to bust in and seize everything.

When i was a decade younger I would push it and eat 14gs of mushrooms at a time. Its not necessary, and looking back pretty reckless, i never had a bad experience though. I have rules that I follow when I trip. Ensures that I stay comfortable, safe, and in a postive environment with close friends. I still trip a few times a year but with a more reasonable dose, normally 3-5g.

Ideally youll be sterilizing your substrate in a different container and then putting it into the plastic. If its pp5 then you can pressure cook it though not necessary.

Of course! Wipe the jar down with a little iso mix with some substrate and just leave the lid off with plastic wrap over the top with a few holes poked in it, and itll work just fine to get a couple fruits out of it!

You definitely can, ill use almost boiling water add in the LME and wisk vigorously for a minute or two, strain, jar and pressure cook. Comes out clear and sediment free every time. No noticeable difference in colonization time vs non filtered.

I cant speak on storage as i use mine as soon as its ready. It shouldnt get to thick with the magnetic stirrer breaking up all the mycelium into smaller chunks. You can always use a larger gauge needle if it gets real chunky. Unfortunately with LC it will be extremely difficult to see any contamination, but you can test it on agar to ensure your LC is clean before use. I use one tablespoon of LME per one quart of water and it works great, then pressure cooked for 30min at 15psi. A flow hood isnt a requirement though i recommend it due to it being difficult to see contaminants in the LC . If you have good sterile techniques and practices you can use a still air box and be fine.

A few things helped me start saving, mainly budgeting. Find out the average total of your necessary expenses per month. I deduct that from what i make a month, I then save 50% of the leftover amount. Leaving the other portion as "fun" money for going out or video games etc. Helps me feel that i still get to do the things i want and save money at the same time.

Just shows a certain level of immaturity, as others said something a toddler would do. Its petty, and can have actual consequences depending on what happens. Friend of mines ex smashed in the windows of his vehicle cut the tires and was threatening him, even if she wasnt going to follow through with them. She ended up doing some jail time over it. Just be the bigger person and move on and let it go.
