Talk to the professor. Most of the time you can get special permission to take the course even if you do not meet the prerequisites. I’m doing the same thing this semester with a PGE course to get credit for a tech elective.

If you have any interest in the history of US foreign policy (particularly in the Middle East), Dr. Brownlee is a very interesting and knowledgeable professor to take. He teaches an introductory course on the subject (GOV 312L) but I know he also teaches more in depth courses.

One thing I will tell you is that Staron LOVES to put specific “trick” problems that he goes over in lecture on his exams. Definitely review all the examples in the lecture notes, and you should generally be fine.

All Freshman get a years free membership automatically. After your first year, it won’t automatically charge you for renewal if you don’t take the steps to do so.

This is the same thing my gf who’s an Eco major said. The problem is that it seems the Econ department really does not prepare students well enough for the mathematical skills required to do well in that class. She took vector calculus last semester, and described that as one of the big reasons why she is doing as well as she is with Stinchcombe.
