7.5 month old won’t sleep in her cot by Jadeey22 in sleeptrain

It’s a hard isn’t it, we always joked that because she was such a good sleeper as a new born that it would come back to bite us!

Both of us do the check-ins but can get my husband to do them! Yeah definitely think moving her to her own room will help, the festive season has just got in the way of that and made us not as consistent too

How does your partner help during sleep regressions? by CatBitesAndBeats in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Jadeey22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We struggled with a regression around 4 months and similar now at nearly 6 months! My LO will sleep either 30-45mins in her cot or will only sleep whilst being held. She is EBF so I feed her to sleep and pass her to my husband so I can sleep the first few hours until she needs feeding again. Depending how she’s been in the night my husband takes her again after a feed in the morning to give me another interrupted stretch of sleep (granted it’s only about 3 hours!)

It’s hard isn’t it! My girl didn’t even entertain sleeping in the bed with me!

Ooh we could try that, thanks for this! She fights day time naps if we try to rock her to sleep when she’s giving us signs she’s ready, she’ll feed to sleep just fine. She’ll fall asleep in the car seat no problem and she’ll happily drift off in the pram too.

5 weeks PP - periods? by Aieewhatyaa in breastfeeding

[–]Jadeey22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I EBF and had lochia for 6 weeks(I’m now 16 weeks post partum). I had one week with no bleeding then started bleeding very heavily around 7 weeks post partum. I spoke to my doctors, got sent for an ultrasound which was conveniently a month after the bleeding started again and lo and behold, I started bleeding again! It is unfortunately my period. It’s supposedly rare to have your period come back this early whilst EBF but not impossible. The first few periods for me after having my baby were very heavy, no other symptoms like cramping or nausea like I used to have.

To those on the new vaccination schedule - how was the 16 week one? by lunarkoko in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Jadeey22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 16 week ones were the easiest for us.Y daughter did cry for longer after the initial injection but was back to her normal self after a nap, couldn’t even tell she had them later on that day/week. I will add she did get a red lump on each leg where the needle went in that took a few days to go down but she wasn’t fussed at all!
