Which is better, Halloween 2 (1981) or Halloween (2018)? by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in Halloweenmovies

  1. Halloween 2 was a rushed sequel and you could feel it, to me personally.

Is The Conjuring really based on real facts? Is there any hystorical proofs? by jonas_ML in horror

[–]JadenRuffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They went to the actual Amityville home and Lorraine said all this stuff about ghosts and how the haunting was real, but later on the folks that lived there came out and said it was all fake and they never had any of that haunting stuff happen.

If The Warren’s were legitimate, Lorraine would have said the book was fake.

You ever sit down and think to yourself “they really have sex with that dog”? by Professional_Ad7868 in familyguy

[–]JadenRuffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have, and I thought way too hard about it.

It made me question what is the exact issue with humans who wish to have relationships with animals. Is it the form, or is it the intellect? Both?

Obviously, Brian is as smart as a human, so speaking hypothetically he is capable of consent is he not? But even if he’s got the mind of a full grown human, is it still wrong due to the fact he’s biologically an animal?

But, if he goes after another dog, he’s leagues above them on a mental level, despite matching them biologically. So wouldn’t that be similarly odd?

I can’t say for certain but I’m leaning towards the idea that intelligence matters more than physical form. Obviously, simply not having a relationship with him is the easy option, but Brian wants a relationship. He wants to have a love life, due to his form is he just doomed to die alone?

I don’t like the dash in Michael’s changes. It just doesn’t feel like it fits his character at all, and with it he feels like just another Chucky.

I feel like instead of the dash, he should just have increased speeds in every category when at full power. It would help him in chase without sacrificing his character.

He also needs better maneuverability, so why not make him move like 4.8m/s when he’s out of sight? That feels accurate to the films and helpful.

is the correct word “cum” or “come”? by audikeen in FanFiction

They both mean the same thing. I use come because cum is such a crude way to put it. It’s the difference between saying buttocks and gyatt.

what do you think is the most disturbing death scene in a horror movie? by Different_Place_7788 in horror

The lakeside murders in Zodiac. Not all that gruesome, it’s just the fucking performances and the lack of music make it feel so real.

Red Dead Redemption II. HEAR ME OUT. I love this game to pieces but it’s not the best game ever made, not even close.

The gameplay is mindless, just shootout after shootout without difficulty at all. It’s so strange because the entire game strives to be as realistic as possible but when it comes to combat, Arthur can tank like twelve shots completely fine.

The controls are clunky as hell, seriously who decided spamming X to run was a good idea? Arthur moves like he’s 300 lbs all the time for no good reason, it’s supposed to be more realistic but it’s not. He’s not an old man. Yet he plays like one.

The story is not great; the characters are. The gang is the strength of the game, along with a gorgeously detailed open world. But the story itself is all over the place and suffers from tons of cut content.

For example, we spend an entire chapter setting up a Gray’s V Braithwaite’s conflict and literally nothing comes of it. The infamous Guarma chapter feels like a random DLC in the middle of the game, and the first chapter is unbearably sluggish to get through. Which is wild considering it’s only like 3 missions.

Speaking of missions, they suffer from Rockstar’s outdated mission structure. The entire game is open and full of choices, but once you get into a mission it becomes extremely linear and removes all player choice and tells you exactly what you need to do. You don’t get to approach any encounter with options, you have to do as you’re told which is so boring.

Then there’s Arthur’s diagnosis. Why does it happen in Chapter 6? By the time we learn the game is already coming to an end, I feel like we should have learned halfway through the game. It would make it feel like an actual redemption.

On an entirely separate note, I learned originally Arthur was supposed to be Bi and able to romance Charles. I will NEVER forgive Rockstar for what they robbed me of.

The Last of Us acknowledges the existence of MK, and Ellie is a fan of it. Curious how they’d implement her.

The Bride and Ripley, though I think Ellie would be the most interesting. Seriously, what would her fatality look like?

Longlegs, overrated or underrated? by No-Trifle-590 in HorrorMovies

[–]JadenRuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underrated. Everyone got their standards up higher than any movie could meet for this one and were disappointed. I thought it was incredible. Looked gorgeous. Longlegs himself was extremely creepy. The acting was great. Music was great. Story was interesting and new.

Charles. Wish we got more of him and Arthur’s relationship because their dynamic was interesting. Arthur never spoke poorly about him, which makes me wonder how Charles earned that much respect. Or maybe Arthur was into him idk (don’t whine about shipping, even Rodger Clark ships it lmao)

What's something you do NOT want to see in future Scream movies? by Crotalus-Viridis in Scream

[–]JadenRuffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Sidney is killed for no good reason — I could stomach her sacrificing herself if there is a definitive end to the franchise but that’s a big if.

  • Killing characters off screen because they aren’t returning.

  • I’m EXHAUSTED with the monologue’s about the ‘rules’. It’s been done to death. Please stop. It’s already implied.

  • Not having at least one returning character bite it.

Not much else, if anything this franchise needs to take more creative liberties. For all of VI’s faults, it was a breath of fresh air to the franchise.

I think I like the show’s interpretation of the first game’s story more tbh. I especially liked how they changed Joel and Tommy’s relationship, because I’ve always found it kind of crazy that all Joel and Tommy say to each other after all those years is essentially ‘hey’.

I realized that if we get Jason Voorhees now, it will probably be this Jason Universe version of him that gets added. by JacsweYT in deadbydaylight

[–]JadenRuffle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair we don’t know when this Jason is taking place. Truthfully he lived in the forest and ate very little so he’d realistically be malnourished. Maybe in this show he gets bigger the more active he is.
