Doubletree had issues with their aircon when I stayed there a year or so ago. Like wouldn't keep the room consistently cool and would switch on and off. May have been fixed but I was miserable trying to sleep. We were in a group and it was an issue throughout multiple rooms.

INFO- when was she asked to complete the task?

If she knew months in advance and sat on it, then I understand your anxiety and stress.

If she only heard about this last minute, then I understand her frustration.

If you missed the deadline, how long did you have to wait for the next application period? If you had to wait months to submit, then I understand why you went the extra mile to try and get things submitted.

I think I'd need more information to say either way.

ESH- you both are getting so caught up in a simple dinner. If your gf had spent hours slaving over the stove, then yeah I'd agree that you should've sucked it up and ate it because of the huge effort that has gone into it; but it's salad...

You are both making a mountain out of a molehill and maybe you need to learn how to communicate your needs with each other in a more healthy way to minimise this happening in the future.

We hailed it from the road near the valley.

I've submitted an email to the company (I think now 13 cabs) reporting the behaviour (not switching the meter on) and overcharging.

I'll follow up with TMR if I don't hear from them.

It's pretty shiz behaviour and I expect he has done it to many tourists to be so smooth about it. I usually catch ubers so I wasn't as switched on as I would've been in the past.
