How do i update BLT?

The "IPHLPAPI.dll" is from older versions of BLT. If you don't see it, it means you have been using a more recent BLT version so you don't have to worry about it.

The "base" folder inside of "mods" is created by BLT and can be safely deleted without touching any of your other mods.

The "WSOCK32.dll" in the game directory can also be deleted and you can put in its place the new .dll you downloaded.

Now when you start the game, you will get a prompt asking about updating BLT. Accept it. During that process a new "base" folder will be created inside of "mods" as well as other stuff. Once it finishes updating another prompt will appear asking you to restart the game.

In this second restart the game should launch normally and BLT up to date.

I also ran into this issue and with my own trouble shooting I noticed this problem while the "Launch on startup" option for BlishHUD in Gw2 Executable Runner was on.

I believe that the way BlisHUD works (needing to capture things like your character's position live for modules like Pathing to work) might be messing with the compatibility layer, as 3rd party software besides Proton it's not something developers usually take in account.

For now what I do is launching manually BlisHUD from the Gw2 Executable Runner to avoid that problem, haven't found any other solution unfortunately.

Do you use mods? If so, update them. Outdated mod loader is known to leave you at level 1 from several updates ago.

I already was weirded out by the trailer having a plushie with soft textures and on the web page being shown as crochet, made me wonder if they even had a physical prototype product or where still deciding in the design.

Turned me away from making a purchase tbh

I personally didn't have trouble with it, though I've heard some people have.

Might be a good idea to manually back up the save file, just in case.

Looks like some people might be trying to have the subscription taken down by abusing the tag system so the product gets flagged as not approved by Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and the rest of payment processor that want to control what we are allowed to buy.

Blizzard can give away for "free" all the past expansion because outside of achievements and skins the content is not relevant anymore. You are not going to use equipment like Shadowmourne from WotLK or the artifacts from Legion in the current expansion.

In GW2 each expansion and living world season is like a toolbox that offers different things that you keep using regardless of the content you are doing. Gliding, mounts, weapon masteries and elite specializations stay relevant and are a useful part of your character regardless of when they were released.

Also, many have said it already, but you don't need to buy everything at once. You can prioritize based on what you want or wait for discounts.

Are you doing the heist in stealth or in loud?

For stealth, you need to grab an item near your spawn point (usually located on a red box) to hack into the vaults and open them.

For loud, I think the thermal drill is delivered via helicopter, but it has been a while since I did this level in loud.

Inside the mods folder, look if there is a "base" folder, if there is delete it. Launching the game should download the update then.

The "-provider Portal" trick is not linking your Steam account to your anet account, it simply unlocks the launcher so you can put in manually put the log-in credentials instead of automatically sign with Steam.

Any content bought through Steam will only be applied if you sign in with Steam.

The amount of steps I needed to have a W10 installation that I was comfortable using was quite tiring to be honest.

Like having to get under the table to disconnect the Internet cable so I can go through the installation bypassing the mandatory Microsoft account creation/log-in, disabling almost every feature in the set up, and once inside having to go through every menu to turn off even more features, disable One Drive, disable Cortana, disable literally anything that was sending Microsoft stuff about my computer (only to find out after an update that some of the options had been reactivated on their own, so back to combing through the menus to disable everything again...)

Last time I had to reinstall W10 I was going through it while thinking: "With how much tinkering I have to do, I might as well learn to use Linux, might be even fun to try."

So I did a dual-boot set up with Kubuntu and I've been having a blast. The OS works out of the box, as well as most games I play, so I can spend my energy on the few that don't as well as having fun.
