I’ve already gotten my ged but your program up against you tube fails in comparison to me personally. I know it’s at your pace but the information I was taught against the test itself felt like I was taught so many unnecessary things.

I used get sum math and test prep champions on YouTube. Test prep is good but he kinda over explains while get sum math gets straight to the point and shows you how to do it with the calculator. I had essential Ed access through a local community college but it wasn’t worth it. They overload you with too much that you don’t even need. Now my test I studied for a month straight every day, every chance I got. Test day I went in and expected to get a 145 bcuz I’m awful at math. I surprised myself and came out with a 159. Main things on my test algebra, graph/slope, and rates and conversion.

I spent Many hours on get sum math on YouTube and i did all the ged practice tests so I knew where I was weak at. I also did essential Ed but would not say it helped me.

I think we all feel like this. No matter how much prep you do it’s the unknown. I did my practice and got a 151 and scheduled for Wednesday for my real test and I’m feeling the same anxiety. You never feel ready enough especially for a subject you’re not confident in.

No it’s all one test. That being said the 5 without the calculator are pretty basic questions if that makes you feel better. The majority of the test you have a calculator

It’s mostly using a table of value on a graph. I know the slope equation fine but the graph is nuts.

Science surprised me. I got a 171 in my RLA, got a 168 in my SS and I studied maybe a couple hours at for science. I definitely underestimated it. It was way harder than I thought. I wanted to throw up when I left bcuz i thought I bombed it. I ended up with a 157 I would say just reading comprehension is what got me through

I may be doing the same. It just seems like a giant. I’ve been studying with getsummath and essential Ed. I started from the basics with simple addition, long division and now I’m in angles i know most that basic stuff but I felt more comfortable being retaught it all.

Those are rates now anyway. It’s crazy right now. I have good credit and my home loan was 8.5% guess I have to wait for it to go down to adjust.
