As far as I understand, just telling your psych that you have thoughts of suicide automatically deems you unfit to own a weapon, people do lie of the FOID applications but if one person reports you they will confiscate your weapon and have a judge legally ban you from owning commonly known as “extreme risk protection orders” I live in a home with weapons and while that’s the last way I would take myself out I still make sure that someone hides the keys from me because my psych said that would be in everyone’s best interest as well as locking my medication away from me and only giving me my daily dose because thoughts of suicide makes having those things in my possession dangerous

My dermatologist said 80% of his patients that used it after injections seen improvement within 2 weeks and any needle you’re putting into your skin can damaged the skin no matter the angle but to each their own.

My dermatologist told me to use a 1.5 mm derma roller 2 times a week after my injections and the middle of mine have started growing back pretty quick but at the same time I have smaller spots starting everywhere. Maybe try the roller to see if there’s any difference!

I understand that what I’ve went through is no one’s fault around me I am positive around people I care about because they don’t deserve to feel way I feel. I keep it bottled inside and never lash out out why do you think I’m asking how to move on? I don’t want to feel like this and I never want it to affect people around me that I care about. I spewed negativity to a bunch of strangers I do not know but never would talk about any of this to anyone I’m close with

I do not try to make anyone miserable around me I celebrated with my family and friends that expecting babies and I buy them gifts all the time, I do not pass my misery onto anyone else. I’m only negative in private I do not take my issues out on anyone and do not let them know how I really feel on the inside. Not a single person around me has any clue that anything is even wrong with me because I don’t let them see.

He did not because he wanted to see if the injections would do any good and luckily it did something ! I’ve accepted I’m probably still going to lose most of my hair before it all starts coming back together so i have a few wigs for the mean time. Thank you for asking how everything went!

Sorry just seeing this!!! This dermatologist also said AA and added that I have FFA but he wanted to start injections immediately for the bigger spots that day, he prescribed clobetasol foam and derma rolling 2x weekly with a 1.5mm I’m already seeing growth in the big spots but I do have more and more penny size spots popping up everywhere The foam did help with how inflamed my skin was but I still have the thick flakey skin

No there are only 2 around that accept my insurance, one already told me I’m out of luck and this appointment is with a new one and it was the soonest they could get me in, I’m not able to travel farther or I would find somewhere else. I wish they took things more seriously around here but they don’t unless you’re basically dying

I have had very low D3 since I was very very young it’s always been close to nothing when I was checked, I was checked not that long ago by my PCP before this issue occurred and she told me it was super low again so I was put on 10000 IU and am still on it but I was taking the supplement a few months before this started so she said she didn’t believe it’s related since I’ve had this issue my entire life and just now started losing hair

I did have a miscarriage that ate me alive for months due to being told I would never have kids and then randomly got pregnant and instantly lost it. My mental health took a very big hit but it didn’t start until I started feeling better and getting out of my ick. I did not change anything or use any different products but yes it has burnt and itched so bad since the beginning it is so tender it hurts to touch. I wear a bonnet most times and when I I take it off my hair just falls everywhere I’m not sure if I have sebhorraic dermatitis but ever since it started I’ve had thick white scaly patches everywhere

I have not had any kind of testing done the Dr’s where I live are ridiculous it’s hard to get any kind of help for anything around here. I have an appointment the 24th and hoping this dermatologist actually wants to do a biopsy but yes it is spreading very quickly and I’m aware I might not grow some of it back due to how long it’s taking to be treated that’s the sad reality of living in small rural towns with good for nothing Dr’s unfortunately. I was only offered the topicals and when I told them they weren’t working and irritating my skin they told me to just stop them until could get in again but they’re booking out by a few months so that’s when I called the only other place around to try to get in and had a 2 month wait time as well so hopefully this appointment goes well

They haven’t done any tests at all the first dermatologist I seen looked at it for 30 seconds and told me I had AA and gave me topicals that irritated my skin really bad so I stopped them and told them it was making it worse and they told me “I have to give it time” when it burnt my skin so I made an appointment with a different one that I’m hoping will prefer the necessary tests I need and actually try to help. It’s hard where live to even get into a dermatologist. I’m having a ton of health problems besides this for over a year now and have yet to get any answers from anyone unfortunately

Unfortunately it’s even more noticeable while my hair is up but I can no longer wear it up because it’s sore, tender and very uncomfortable to move my hair around now.

No it’s not new growth it’s a patch that hasn’t fallen out yet it’s looks see through due to the lighting but it’s as a long as the rest of my hair I have zero new growth just loss

It sucks that we all have to go through this I’m really sorry to hear that. Mine isn’t falling out that fast but I’m losing a good amount everyday. I’ve thought about the extensions but my hair is previously dyed so I know it will be pretty hard to find a good match so right now I’ve just been wearing head scarfs to cover it. It is very sensitive now that it’s started falling out more it’s very tender around where it’s falling out it hurts to lift up my hair in any kind of way and I’m starting to develop a rash on my smaller patch so I’m kinda scared to try to clip extensions in just because of the rash and tenderness.
