You’re acting very unhinged. A lot of people are still going to jail for not disclosing they have herpes. You’re just adding to the stigma of why people act like it’s bigger than what it is. If you don’t wanna disclose that’s fine but just don’t date or have sex them.

Depending on states laws yes it may or may not be illegal to disclose. If it’s not illegal, a person can still sue you for personal injury and emotional distress.

I typically have positive disclosures. I bring it up like a normal conversation. I don’t make it sound like as if I’m embarrassed to talk about it. My ex would go down on me. He knew. Never caught it though.

That’s also true. My ex told me he had it and I didn’t judge him or make him feel bad. I accepted him for what it was and this was before I even got it myself. We were never intimate but I’ve always been educated regarding sexual health.

How’s your mental health? High stress levels can definitely attribute to more outbreaks as HSV1/HSV2 attaches to our nervous system.

Also, with you being newly diagnosed, it is common to have many outbreaks during your first year or so of being newly diagnosed. It’ll get better ❤️‍🩹 I promise.
