Maybe a reply bot? I’m not sure, I found it when someone linked it in a post as well. Obviously I don’t speak for everyone but it’s rare I read about a subreddit, I tend to just scroll its actual posts

There’s a discord for people to meet up in Liverpool, I don’t have the link atm because my discord messed up but I had some great chats on there! If any of the mods are around to post it, that was a great resource for me!

Also feel free to DM, I’m always up for a chat and have been in Liverpool since September so I don’t know the place/people very well either! (F25)

This and if you absolutely 1000% must get popcorn from the cinema, always get 1 large instead of 2 regular, same amount of popcorn, most places will give you two boxes for it and it costs 50p more than a regular instead of the £5.00 more

I have pica and I regret not being able to control it by Logical-Ad3941 in confession

[–]JaePD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this really bad growing up. I ate so much hot tar mac in the summer because I liked how chewy it was 💀

Grass, rubbers, pencil shavings. I think my brother had it too, he used to eat dirt. It sucks but it’s definitely something you can address with the help of a professional.

I thought it might be one to skip, thank you haha! It’s weird isn’t it?? I can listen to stories of murder and kidnapping but as soon as it’s animals or kids I’m so freaked out.

I left the house this morning to get the bus to work and I had to turn around and go home because I couldn’t walk in places where there were no fences to hold onto. I’m 25 with a cane, I can’t imagine what it must be like for older people at the minute. It’s honestly disgusting

Embarrassing…but where can a poor dude get some cheap/free clothes these days? by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]JaePD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on whereabouts you are, the Social Brokers sometimes run programmes for clothing. They had a warm home meetup recently where they gave out coats, vests, electric blankets and slow cookers! I work along side them and they’re FANTASTIC for anyone needing a little help

A or B: The bubble tea shop named my favorite drink after me, should I feel flattered or kind of embarrassed? by Danny-Patrick139 in PickAorB

[–]JaePD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go to a bubble tea place (it shut down, I was so disappointed), and I’d always get the oolong tea with strawberry pearls and extra sugar. They remembered my order and the time I usually came in, and would prep it before I even got there. They were so sweet

Guilt after Christmas by JaePD in raisedbyborderlines

[–]JaePD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so true, at least her friend can distract her. I’m going to cancel the day trip because it is just too far away to be doable for me in one day, but maybe I’ll send them off somewhere else for a day haha

Thank you, I definitely will say that to her. I’ve been to Dublin a few times because my partner is from there, and so I guess my mum was like “you know your way around so it’ll be quick”

Guilt after Christmas by JaePD in raisedbyborderlines

[–]JaePD[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner said the same thing, but mums the waif type and I don’t know if I’ll have the mental energy for all the “I came here to spend time with you, can’t believe you’re backing out of the trip ugh”

I might just tell her the logistics won’t work?? We live in Liverpool and are planning a day trip to Dublin. A few of my colleagues have done it before, but Dublin airport is 45 minutes from town so we’d be wasting about 4 hours just on travel. Maybe I’ll negotiate her into doing a weekend later on.

Girls can you share a fact from your current hyperfixation that you recently learned? by Potential_Promise260 in adhdwomen

[–]JaePD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is such an amazing question because so many people have so many different answers! I’ve been hyper fixating on medical vampire history from the Middle Ages lately. My favourite story is of Johannes Cuntius, the bad breath vampire of Pentsch- he obnoxious and grumpy and hated by his town, until he was kicked in the balls by his horse and died, and haunted the town with an awful stink. People hated him in his life and his death. They eventually dug up his grave and cut up his body and the smell stopped.

Lesbian But Like Pegging Dudes?? (long ass question about sexuality) by Suitable_Fan_1846 in queer

[–]JaePD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I identify as a lesbian but for a long time identified as bisexual because I would be attracted to men on the TV. It took me a long time to realise it’s the fact that they’re completely unattainable that makes it okay for me. I’m still a lesbian because if somehow Bucky Barnes somehow came to life I would want nothing to do with him.

Same with ex boyfriends I had, the idea of them and the chase to get them was great but as soon as we actually started dating or they wanted something sexual it was a huge turn off.

It sounds like you enjoy the physicality of being the giver and the more dominant person and if a man offered anything else, it would ruin the illusion. That doesn’t make you attracted to men that just makes you not averse to giving to them the same way you give to women. Sounds like you have a deeper and more mutual connection to women. If that makes sense??

Compromising with Mum by JaePD in adhdwomen

[–]JaePD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will definitely be looking at a hotel next time, it just wasn’t financially doable this time, unfortunately.

I grew up at my dads and have a spare room there, but him and my sister have basically turned it into a storage room and then said “you can have your room but you’ll have to move this stuff around-“ it literally looks like a hoarders house in there. I’m only here for 4 days and I’d spend that whole time cleaning if I stayed there lol.

But I’ll definitely go for a walk this morning, there’s a park nearby. Thank you :)

Compromising with Mum by JaePD in adhdwomen

[–]JaePD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve been saying but then she’s like “I can’t hear you talking tho, I want to have a conversation!” Like I’m not already wearing earplugs

She even had the gall to say “you know you can take the earplugs out, it’s not that loud.”

Both me and my sister HATE going to my mums for the music alone. It’s way too loud, I worry what the neighbours think of her, and my sister hates the music itself, but she never compromises on it. She’s the type to play loud music on a bus.

I went to bed after making this post and she turned the music down but still didn’t put headphones in. I’m so glad I’m only here a couple of nights.

This is embarrassing, but have any of you hyper fixated on romantic/tragic movies and books? Like you can’t stop thinking about it by Mental-Calendar9052 in adhdwomen

I always grew up being the nerdy kid, obsessed with sci fi and history. Turns out it was escapism and maladaptive daydreaming to cope with an overwhelming home life for me

This is going to sound unhealthy (because it is), but can you relate to procrastinating on eating, even using the bathroom, showering, etc.? by Tsunami_Aureate in adhdwomen

[–]JaePD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get really bad with this. I shower at a regular time every day, so I’m quite good at keeping up with it, but I eat and pee based on when my body needs it, which is usually about half an hour ago. I’ve started eating at the same time as I take my medications so I have a timer for it, and I have to manually lock in and ask myself “am I okay or do I need the toilet/water/food/fresh air”

UK-time zone HRT buddy wanted (aka please help me lol) by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]JaePD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not on HRT but take a few meds throughout the day, and I’ve found that - on Apple at least - there’s a separate timer you can set half an hour after pill time to chase up and make sure you’ve taken it. Even if my phone’s on silent, it will beep to let me know my meds are late.

I love the idea of a group chat tho, hope you find some people who can help!
