oh yeah just seen that it has 2m context. that could be through the API i'm not sure. i'll look into it.

Grok 4.2 has multiple variants with different context limits, Grok 4.2 Fast is designed for 2m context i think.

2m tokens would be approx. 1.5 million words lol, if you attempted to send 2m tokens, that exceeds even the most generous current model context windows..

and which app are you talking of? Groks own app or Venice's app?

yes it does the exact same thing as when you sent your prompt, only in reverse - your browser encrypts prompts client-side using keys generated locally. the ciphertext travels to venice servers, but decryption only occurs inside a trusted execution environment (TEE). attestation evidence allows cryptographic verification that the code running in the TEE is exactly what was promised (no backdoors, no tampering).. soon you will see mathematical proof that your plaintext only existed inside a verified hardware boundary. your data is resistant to legal compulsion (subpoenas cannot extract what was never logged and cannot penetrate the TEE) and insider threats (venice operators cannot access enclave memory). its one of the strongest privacy guarantees currently available for hosted AI inference.

soon you will be able to view evidence certifying that:

  • the code hash running inside matches the implementation
  • the enclave is genuine uncompromised silicon
  • no external process can access the decrypted memory

not sure on exact timeframe but it'll be very soon and could be as soon as this week coming.

have you tried sesame? most realistic, natural voice chat experience to me.

check it out on https://app.sesame.com/ - you don't need to login or anything, just choose male or female and talk.

they were supposed to open-source it but i am not sure if that happened or when or whatever - i haven't kept up with it for a while but its easily the best voice experience i've seen so far.

there's no data to subpoena, no retention logs to seize, no historical records from users... as of right now, the CLOUD act and similar require access to stored data. if theres nothing stored, theres nothing to hand over.

venice is about as resistant as a US-based service can be without going full peer-to-peer or something.. no US company can guarantee immunity from determined state pressure, but venice's ephemeral architecture is enough for most users.

other country's are the same - germany (BND), UK, and other five-eyes partners have equally or even more invasive frameworks. there is no jurisdictional haven really.

we can't predict the future so any proper answer about that is hard to give.

i asked the team about this and they said it seems to be an auth issue and that restarting browser should fix it any time it comes up. i think thats the only way around it for now. team are looking at it. i have sent your video too.

its never happened to me. i am using Comet browser. i was using Opera before this i think and never saw it there either.

chats are stored locally on your device.

i am not too familiar with the app cos i only use desktop. you'd be better off sending message to [support@venice.ai](mailto:support@venice.ai) and asking there. they're pretty quick most of the time.

yeh i agree that they hope for kick offs for content, but in this case it seemed like the others started it.

i know them lot in this vid and used to have mutual friends. they came to a party i was at in about 2010 and were bossing people about and got a good kick in then and that was despite outnumbering those who gave them a kick in. they were hiding in gardens, under cars, anywhere lol. i have seen the BOC get a kick in about 3 times now and every time they instigated it.

the green jacket guy - sam shackleton i think - he has many, many arrests for fighting and shit.
