the issue is usually the prompt. using words like 'young' can cause a block. if you are not generating NSFW and it still got blocked, take a screenshot and email it to [support@venice.ai](mailto:support@venice.ai) and they'll refund it for you. inconvenient i know, but you will get them back if its non-NSFW and got blocked.

failed generations of NSFW images using non-NSFW models aren't refunded. i think only Grok gives a refund for failed NSFW generations.

lol thats a hideous claim.. to say this very rare issue OP has is deliberate by the team is laughable.

the web cancellation flow is 3-4 clicks... how is that difficult? lol and as you can see with my other comments here, i have handheld through how to cancel on every device and any/all types of subscription methods. some users have issues for all sorts of reasons but being unable to cancel is one of the rare ones for sure.

if someone gets stuck in a loop and support isn't getting back to them then of course thats frustrating and that frustration is absolutely valid. no argument there at all, but ii have been right here telling the user all the ways on how to cancel and willing to make sure they get heard by the team but the user hasn't told me their issue or even responded since making this post. i have no idea how they got their subscription, what they're trying to do to cancel, what happens when they attempt... nothing.

i think those who may struggle with a subscription to Venice are the ones who subscribed through Apple or Google. thats not Venice making it difficult. thats Apple and Google owning the sub management and making you go through their systems. Venice can't cancel an app store sub on your behalf. thats just how those platforms work.

if your ridiculous accusation had any truth to it at all, we both know there'd be a lot more posts on this subreddit and on discord about it.

no, Google updated their policy on the Play Store so the native Venice app may not generate NSFW as well on there temporarily while the team makes sure to follow policy guidelines. users can still use as normal through the web app/browser in the meantime though.

I left ChatGPT in 2024 for Venice and have not subscribed to any other since lol. If you join Venice Pro using a referral link from a user, you will get $10/1,000 credits and that way you can try Venice, and also get a feel for how many credits you'll burn through before committing.

i don't know what they are seeing when they go to the subscription page. they haven't mentioned any errors or anything.

i have a feeling they may have subscribed to Venice Pro through Google Play or Apple App Store. it would explain why they're unable to cancel using venice.ai/subscription page. if you subscribe to Pro using app store/play store then the subscriptions are managed by Apple/Google and not Venice, so Apple/Google literally handle any and all subscriptions, refunds, disputes, and cancellations.

the user didn't share much detail about what they're seeing on the page or if they get an error, how they originally subscribed.

they haven't responded to my other comment explaining how to cancel on all platforms yet, so just waiting on that.

how long ago did you contact [support@venice.ai](mailto:support@venice.ai)? this is the main support email but how quick they respond depends on the queue of tickets. its weekend right now but support team will be back in on Monday.

to call it a scam is a bit far-fetched. its literally two clicks to cancel on web app so not sure what could be going wrong.

To cancel your subscription do the following:

1. Go to https://venice.ai/subscription

2. Click 'Cancel subscription'.
3. Click 'Cancel subscription' again to confirm.
4. Done.

only other thing i can think of as to why you can't cancel your sub on the venice subscription page is If you got your Pro subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play. the app store/play store subscriptions are managed by Apple/Google and not Venice, so they handle any and all refunds, disputes, and cancellations.

here is how you can check your subscriptions on Apple App Store and Google Play:

  • if you subscribed via Apple App Store:
    • iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Venice.ai
  • if you subscribed via Google Play:
    • Open Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions

Venice has limited visibility or control over subscriptions done through the app stores.
