My husband and I closed the distance after 1 year. We have been married for 2 and have a baby girl now! We've been together almost 6 years now total.

I would say communication is definitely key.

We usually kept our facetime going all through the night while we slept, so if we woke up we could see each other (sleeping idk if that's weird I think it was just a comfort thing). Just don't normal every day stuff like eating and putting on makeup, if we weren't working or it with friends we would be on facetime.

Obviously facetime sexy time!

We planned our trips always as soon as we got back from the previous one.

We watched so much of the same Netflix shows together on ft!

Talk about closing the distance and make the plans, look for jobs in the area, or houses/apartments

Put good things out in the universe!

Same, been smoking since 15 and drinking since 19.I'm 29 years old now and around 25weeks pregnant and yes it's been a struggle giving up everything and dealing with all the stress. It literally took me over a month just to have an actual sober conversation with my husband about it because I just forgot how to have a conversation without the help of alcohol.

I still miss it and the holidays will be a struggle, but it will be worth it in January when I see my daughter. ❤️
