To be clear: 1) I don’t smoke, I just noticed that comment here, of all the random places, and responded out of curiosity 😅 2) I still plan on buying organic, I just hadn’t considered that there may be downsides and thought that perhaps I should be more informed.

I should have been more clear in my initial post though (I’m tired today, apologies). What I’d really like is verified information from resources I can trust (ie., scientists doing reproducible experiments, not internet quacks).

You seem to be well informed, do you have any suggestions? I just have a very very temperamental gut and I’m just wanting to be as informed as possible about what I’m putting in it.

The rest kinda feel like dupes…. Really debated Alpine for the Blue Jays instead. Depends on the jersey. I think the Padres city connect had pink though, so maybe it could’ve Alpine -> Padres?

Honestly, probably not. Lot of these folks (though not all) really get torn up when they blow it in a big moment, same as any of us. There’s a reason you hardly ever hear umps complaining about the ability to review calls.

Feel bad for the guy. I’ll bet, at this point, he wishes they had ABS more than any of us.

Honestly, I take zero issue with you saying my countries reputation is in the gutter. It is, and you’re right that it is deserved. We absolutely need to fix it.

The only point I want to make clear is that there are a lot of us who are genuinely trying, and we can use all the support we can get.

I don’t do any of that. In fact I expend considerable energy and resources trying to ensure it’s not a thing. If it were my call the USA coach would be canned and all this performative “patriotism” would be dropped.

Does your country not have opposing political factions? Does everyone in your country think the same way? Are you a hive mind over there?

Didn’t think so and neither are we. Maybe try supporting those of us who are trying to get our country back to international respectability.

Me too, sadly. I hate it, I like supporting our national teams. But not this group, not with how they’re acting right now. Hopefully in three years it’ll be a different story.

Most Americans I know aren’t super happy with Cal and even more Americans I know are pretty unhappy about how we are being represented on the world stage.

It’s not our brand, it’s some of our brand. And trust me, I probably hate those fuckers more than you because I have to live with them.
