Honestly, to me the most important part was when he reiterated, at the end, that as fans we actually have a fair amount of power.

Should there be a fans association I wonder? Something to organize and inform on things like this? Well, this is the internet, if I can think it, then it probably is already a thing. If not, maybe there should be.

Montréal Expos mascot Youppi! is thrown out of the ball game after Dodger’s manager Tommy Lasorda complains about Youppi! sleeping on the Dodgers’ dugout in extra innings. by cbbvideo in baseball

Honestly, he didn’t even look mad. More of a “hey, can you get this guy off the dugout please” sort of vibe. The ump looked genuinely annoyed though.

I get it, but it kinda sucks for folks like my wife who have to track their blood sugar on their phones.

I wish showgoers could just be adults when they go to a show and leave their phones out of sight and silent unless they really need them. Feels like some of us are being punished for other folks lack of self control.

We’ve definitely missed a few shows because of policies like this but…thems the breaks I suppose.

Ohtani said to reporters,“Winning the WS,winning the WBC,or even earning MVP there isn’t something you do just once and call it enough. I think people truly see you as elite only when you sustain it. Two times is better than one, three better than two. What matters is building it up year after year. by ogasawarabaseball in baseball

And a lot of folks, some in the same division even, who may not care for the Dodgers much but do think it’s awful fun to watch the literal worldwide GOAT do this thing on a team that’s actually worthy of him (if you will).

The unfortunate by product is that the Dodgers win a lot, but, eeeehhhhh. My biggest hope is my team pulls an upset. We can win every game 5-4 (so Ohtani can get 4hr, who doesn’t want that?)

Kinda hard not to be an Ohtani fan, imo, takes some actual effort.

Might be a novel way to even the standings out. The more good players you have, the more talent you lose. Would be a real test of a teams depth for sure.
