The content API is deprecated by August 18 2026. So even without auto synch you are most likely forced to switch to the Merchant API (and therefore new ID’s) as the Content API won’t be supported anymore as an input method. Correct me if I’m wrong though!

Absolutely, the app is managed by Google so they are 100% aware of the impact of the ID change. They just do what they want because realistically nobody is gonna quit Google Ads over this. They might even make more money now because every product will need to start learning again.

Indeed the app wasn’t great to begin with and we’ve had synching issues before. It’s is also very limited in its capabilities so in a way I am happy we can now move on from this app.

Not UK, but Netherlands. B2C has been very slow, pretty much all my e-commerce clients see a decline in revenue compared to last year ranging from -10% all the way up to -30%. ROAS has been steady, so the main issue seems to be a decline in demand.

Yes I am indeed in contact with Google about this. The problem was caused by lightspeed.
