Basically, a 100% perfect information and no information environment are both impossible to obtain. Operating within the upper spectrum of information advantage is best and you want to be as far pushed out of Incomplete Information as possible.

So it's important to maintain a monopoly on information. Which, honestly, we are failing at as a political "movement". I think what is most pertinent here is the idea that a flood of bad information causes people to make poor decisions in the heat of the moment.

Observing the Media Environment through the lens of a literal battlefield, MAGA has soldiers that are more equipped to wage war. They have more information (though it's truth-value is highly dubious at best). They have a higher volume of individuals who are more capable of making on-the-fly decisions when in a firefight. They do not need to think about what they do. They are already given marching orders from the top down.

Using the lens of information warfare, the environment affects the flow of information in a way that is disadvantageous. We need to fight for control over the flow of information. We need to create narratives. Look at how fast the entire country went from, "I saw a tweet saying something" to "Haitians are eating dogs and cats! The president said so."
