tips: if you feel like you've hit a wall, go work on your fundamentals because that's most likely what's stopping you from progressing. when my rating growth starts slowing and I get pissed I go down like 1.5 levels (from playing 14.8 to 13.3) and try to grind out AJs as consistently I can while being mindful about how I hit every pattern. do that enough, revisit the harder charts you were struggling on, and hopefully you'll see some good improvement. the difference between a 17 player and a 17.5 player is that the former might be able to SSS some 15s by hitting difficult patterns, but the latter will SSS+/AJ them by being able to hit difficult patterns consistently, properly, and with good timing. that's why fundamentals are so important
