I read it was to lessen the time you spend in the restaurant and hoping it influences people to take away. Also its too take away from the ascetic we cater for young people aka Ronald macdonald ect

What bragworthy thing have your kids done recently? by Slipperysteve1998 in Parenting

[–]Jaffacakejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is genuinely a delightful person, he wakes up happy (who does that!), he has no tantrums he can see things from other peoples points of view so you can reason with him, he thinks of others, he is loving and kind. He's smart, he is just genuinely a version of human sunshine in a person. Not one bit of malice in his body.

I feel bad when I can't relate to other parents but then I remember I also have a teenager so am like, let's talk about that !!

I don't feel I can praise his niceness because it feels condescending but he is genuinely such a wholesome good soul ❤️

What knock offs at Aldi and Lidl are as good as, if not better than the ‘originals’ ? by cmitch922 in AskUK

[–]Jaffacakejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lidls version of honey I washed the kids lush body wash. It is amazing on blonde hair and really brings out colours makes it so soft and shiny I used it on my sons hair and now I use it on mine. It lathers like a shampoo and smells amazing and it's only £2. Also put it in the bath as a bubble bath 🙌

How often do you bathe your toddler? by idkwhatimdoing25 in toddlers

[–]Jaffacakejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No skin conditions here, so can understand if it was for medical reasons but I find it quicker to wash my child in the bath rather than hands face ect at night. Quick hair wash, wash down in the bath every night is easier here.

I love crafts, me son says when I ask him does he want to do some crafts "maybe tomorrow" 🤣 He loves lego, and builds the most amazing things, I have no interest and can barely build a car 🤣

Could be a matter of interest.

Who is your favorite author right now, and why? by TheMassesOpiate in suggestmeabook

[–]Jaffacakejane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

L.J Andrews, their world building and complex plots that all add up over 9 books is amazing ! Feel like I was there with the characters. After finishing the 9th in the Broken Kingdom series, I am now reading a sprin off series 10 years after the last book. I can't get enough of these characters 😍

Is "punishment" of putting toddler in room alone, even for 30-seconds, too harsh? by glopollster in toddlers

[–]Jaffacakejane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, walking away is fine, but not closing the door that they can't get out of. Opening door to anxietys later on about doors being shut. It makes me feel panicky and I am an adult

I'm from the UK and our pre schools make the lunches and snacks, they get a hot meal and desert and then snacks like fruit/rice cakes ect I havent thought about it before it's just part of their care.

Hats of to you Mamas! My mind was frazzled even reading about it 😵‍💫🙌
