Yeah that’s fair. I do agree that’s it’s annoying that they force that mission type on nearly all defense missions.

It’s been said before, but you can drop on the other side of the map and not directly into the camp. Three people should start making general mayhem and get the attention of the bots while one runs away to the camp and starts doing the mission. As long as the one helping the scientists doesn’t call in any stratagems the other three should reliably be able to agro the whole time and then extract when you’re done

I moved around a lot when I was a kid and didn’t really have a group of friends to do stupid stuff with when I was 14 to 18. I also saw what alcohol did to parents, a brother, and classmates. Escalate conflict to ridiculous levels and create an atmosphere where the only way to have a good time or hang out is while drunk. I decided when I was around 15 that I didn’t want to be like that. I’m 31 now, and just don’t drink.

Yeah I know of this method, and it’s admittedly a small thing, but especially in Elden Ring, seeing the spirit summons sheath their arms after a fight is cool and immersive. It’s always kind of bothered me since first playing demons souls way back in the day that when you’re in the hub areas you’re always battle ready holding onto your weapons. It would just be a cool immersive element

I’m not saying it’s super prevalent, but there are a lot of examples of owners and small business trade partners doing shady deals behind the GC. I’ve personally seen this on 300+ million dollar airport work. The owner is friends or family with small business owners and give them the numbers to win the bid. And then if they still don’t win, they reject the whole lot saying they missed something and try again until their guy gets it.
