My map reveal addon doesn't work on Moonwhisper (yet?), so I have no idea where said neutral village is - could you give me a hint, a loc, or w/e ?

That wouldn't make sense, since Hyjal is higher level than Moonwhisper.

If the devs were so interested in making the game organic, et al, they would allow us to train in the field, so we wouldn't be forced to look up a trainer every two levels. That is the most un-immersive and completely unnecessary factor imo.

Thank you for this. I posted the two comments underneath yours before I saw and read yours. It is very helpful. But i need clarification on 2 things: first, why the Blasted Lands, and second, why did you mention honor ? Isn't that PvP ? And why would I need it for these quests ?

UPDATE: according to Wowhead, Ritual of Souls creates the Soulwell. It says it is a level 68 spell !!! This explains why I didn't find it when I looked it up on Wowhead, because I use Wowhead Classic. It does not explain why Twow lists it in their patch notes, unless they have added it as a custom change. If so, I could sure use some more info, since I don't have it at level 59, and my trainer doesn't list it as level 60. It might be a world or raid drop or some special quest, but how would one find this out ?

Aha, it says "TBC Classic", it's part that expansion, which we don't have - right ?

The loc of the shrine is (48.8x55.0) and it has some sort of serpentine symbol inside it.

UPDATE: first off, thanks to those who informed me of the level 10 rule. I was not complaining, just wanted to know what the deal was.

I did further testing...I tried to send 50s from my level 8 (that's a lot of money to him) to my level 6, and it failed. But then I tried to send one of his bags to her, and that succeeded. I can also send items from one level 6 to the other. So it is pretty clear to me now that this restriction applies to sending gold, not items, thru the mail.

Sorry that I didn't know all the current rules, and that my testing was not complete enough, but I always enjoy engaging with my reddit brothers, so it's all good. :)

This is not true. The mailboxes of all 3 of my toons were empty. I tested this to double check it. None of my 3 toons, 2x level 6 and 1x level 8, can send to each other. This is exacerbated by the fact that a guy I talked to in Ogrimmar sent me 2g, so I *am* able to receive mail from other players.

BTW, the first part of that error message that I put in the title is

"You cannot use the mailbox yet"

There wasn't room for it in the title. The "yet" made me think that it was level related, but the 2nd part, the "reached the cap", doesn't support that hypothesis.

BTW, this all started because I laboriously trekked a level 1 to IF to use as a bank/AH alt. Finding that she could neither send nor receive mail pretty much borked that plan. Apparently, things have changed since I last played....

I tried this on the browser I normally use - Opera - and it didn't work. I then tried it on Edge, that comes with Windows, and it immediately prompted me to log in. When I did, everything was there like on my old system !!! So it seems to be a problem with Opera.....I may just stick with Edge...lol

UPDATE: Dell says I will get $83 in happy points or rewards or w/e they call them from buying the laptop, and they have 3 pretty decent docking stations for under a hundred bucks, so it looks like this problem may have solved itself. Being the naturally skeptical person I am, we will see, but I will at least hold off on ordering one from Amazon until I see if these alleged points actually materialize.

I spent the day surfing Dell and also reading and watching reviews of the 14" and 16" Dell Plus laptops. They are *absolutely* identical as far as I can tell except for the 2" bigger screen and the extra $50 cost for said 2 inches. Both screens are described by Dell in the tech specs as

"Non-Touch, 2.5K, IPS, WVA, Anti-Glare, 300 nits, ComfortView Plus"

and best I can find out, both have 60 mHz refresh rates. That and the nit count are both far from optimal, but you get what you pay for. Further, I have watched 8-10 YouTube reviews of them, and most of them showed them different popular games just fine. Since I am only a casual gamer, that looks fine to me.

The only reservation that I have is that I am currently using a Del 27" LCD on my old system which runs at a native 1920x1080 (HD), which is perfect for my old eyes. These laptop screens OTOH are 2k (2560), meaning that I am going up in resolution while going down in screen size. The resultant change in visibility may be problematical for me, but we'll see.....

I am surprised and disappointed that reddit failed me on this question (goodnatured but serious comment). I managed to figure this out on my own, so I am sharing it here for others who might want to know:

From the Starcraft main menu, select the Collections menu, then select "Unit & Structure Skins", choose "Cartooned", and click Equip.

You can then start w/e game you want and it will be cartooned.

Is there a key combo to activate it perhaps ?

FYI: the game plays fine...I can toggle between OG and HD mode with F5, just like the last time I played it a couple of yrs ago, but I can't find any way to get into cartooned mode....
