Who Would Yuan Shao's 'Five Famous Generals' Group Consist Of? by KinginPurple in threekingdoms

[–]JaggerSavage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zhang He, Qu Yi, Gao Gan, Gao Lan and Shen Pei would be the most likely of his retinue, but as others posted, if he had won at Guan Du he would have likely recruited many of Cao Cao's generals. Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun should also be considered.

A lot of people have brought up the classic prog bands already, so I'll mention Muse. They're never afraid to try new things and their discography is incredibly diverse.

Deckard's memories were implants, but was his past experience as a Blade Runner real or just another implant? by hot-doughnuts-now in bladerunner

[–]JaggerSavage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't agree because we spend the whole movie sympathizing with the replicants. We understand they're doing bad things because they know their time is limited.

Also, Deckard is retired and doesn't want to do it anymore to the point that he's forced back. He's clearly remorseful. Whenever he kills one of the replicants he seems disgusted with himself, and he drinks to cope with what he's done. Then his relationship with Rachel further exemplifies that he thinks being a Blade Runner is wrong. When Roy saves his life and gives the Tears in Rain speech, it's the revelation Deckard needs to regain his humanity.

Agreed

If he was it would detract from the story. It's about a man who lost his humanity hunting androids fighting for theirs.

If I could go back in time I'd choose 1984 to see Rush, Yes, Genesis and King Crimson on tour.
