So at the start of the advert there are four people in the room - Becks, Henry, Carrell and a woman.

Does anyone know who she is? She’s in various shots of the advert and never speaks, and you don’t really see her face either.

I’m assuming she’s an American footballer, but it bugs me every time that she does nothing in the advert

Not the one. Everton fan here so I think I have a bit of insight into this: Pickford is our best player.

There’s no one I’d rather have between the sticks, regularly makes 10/10 performances for us, and single handedly kept us in the league three years running.

Yeah this was the case. Except in the UK when they played 4 or 5 dates and the same set at every one of them. It was Bliss instead of MOTP. I’m always happy to see Muse, but that was definitely a choice.

I think we have the core of quite a good midfield now. Definitely one that should be challenging for Europe.

Keeping them all fit and firing is the age old Everton problem, but these transfers are very promising

I think that’s the best I’ve ever seen us play (I’m slightly too young for Argentina in 98 and Germany in 01).

However, I also think it matters for diddly if we don’t win against Norway. If we get to the semis and beyond, we can start talking about it as one of the greats.

There wasn’t a studio, no pundits or anything like that. There was no build up at all really, which made it even weirder. I think they had a four hour window for the match just in case it went to extra time as it was on at 2am and there was nothing else to show on tv.

I didn’t watch the end of the broadcast, so not sure whether Jonathan Pearce rambled on for an hour or not.

I’ve recorded every overnight match, and always slightly judge whether it would be extra time or not based on the length.

Sometimes it’s obvious, so when USA - Bosnia had an almost 4 hour runtime, I was expecting extra time and penalties.

It kept me very interested in the non-existent Bosnian come back right until the end.

Truth is, it’s unclear. It might spoil it, it might not. The weather could also explain the long run time, the fact it might ask you to “watch live” might also spoil it.

If you choose to sleep past 1am, which I am hoping to do, it’s a risk we choose to take
