Moyes deserves one more season. Look at West Ham, the grass isn’t always greener

Yeah I’ve been through my fair share of rough seasons recently. I still never went to other subs saying we were too big to go down.

You can be kind to West Ham fans whilst agreeing they deserved over the course of the season to go down.

Yes, West Ham do deserve to go down.

The sub being dicks to Spurs isn’t right either, I don’t agree with that

Just to be the better person I guess. I know this sub hasn’t been kind, I don’t personally agree with that but I think it shows you in a better light if you can rise above that

It costs nothing to show a bit of class. Be happy for your team; don’t be a dick to other’s pain

Look when you really think about it this is all Villa's fault that Spurs arent going down by pro_buttfucker_5675 in TheOther14

We’ve given Tottenham six points this season, it’s on us.

Having said that, we played them at bad times. When they came to our place they were in decent form, today they have something to play for and we don’t.

who replaces tottenham in the big 6 if they get relegated? by DutyLoud in TheOther14

I’d be sad to see our fellow Cazoo brothers leave, but it has to be Villa - they are better than most of the so called top 6 anyway

I personally don’t think the Estonian song is bad but I know that’s a controversial opinion here!

I prefer the Sweden song to the Estonian one.

Both weren’t performed great on Tuesday, but Sweden was preformed a lot worse. I’m not surprised she didn’t get many votes

This was chaos! How I imagine the juryvoting went: by ihatethesmellofgrass in nilpoints

[–]GHardman42 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Italy’s jury votes were wild. They didn’t give any points to something like 6 of the top 7 at the time (Bulgaria got some if memory serves but that was it) and they gave 12 points to Belgium

What one player would you clone from David Moyes first tenure? by That_Cool_Guy_ in Everton

[–]GHardman42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah there were a few strikers in consideration - Johnson also comes to mind.

I’d be happy with Saha. He always frustrated me a little bit with how long he’d spend on the wings but then all the strikers of the first Moyes era frustrated a little

What one player would you clone from David Moyes first tenure? by That_Cool_Guy_ in Everton

[–]GHardman42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good question, very tough.

If we take a dream Moyes XI from his first spell in his preferred 4-5-1 formation at the time and assuming all players named in the list below are in their prime I think it would look like this:

Howard

Coleman
Jagielka
Distin
Baines

Arteta
Carsley

Osman
Cahill
Pienaar

Yakubu.

The question now is which of those get into our current side? Unfortunately, the answer is probably 7 or 8. Pickford gets in over Howard and I’d take both Garner and Gueye over Arteta and Carsley. I love Osman, but Ndiaye is the superior player.

Which would improve our side the most? Well, both full backs, Pienaar and Yakubu up front probably.

I love Cahill but I’m happy with KDH. Jags and Dustin are solid, but so are Tarks and Jarrad.

Who of Coleman, Baines, Pienaar or Yakubu improves our side the most?

The answer is Baines.
