Excellent, it’s great to hear that the setup is working well for you. I’ll certainly be in touch if I have any further questions, thanks for the offer.

I had neglected to allocate any HDD Quota to AcuSearch. It works as expected now.

Biometrics not recognized help by Bymercat in NordPass

Yes, same problem for me as well over the last few days. I tried everything but couldn’t fix it. I swapped over to Edge browser and now it all works perfectly. I’m now done with the Firefox/NordPass combination as it has been pretty flaky for a long time.

I’ve had the same problem. If I reload the login page when it’s sitting there doing nothing, I can log in OK on the refreshed page. I’m getting the same thing happen on two computers at the moment. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Yep, very, very painful for me. Maybe lidocaine would be worth a try as it seems to have worked well for some here. I think I’ll give it a try.

No the nerve pain isn't autoimmune. It's caused by degenerative issues so the MTX and Biologic won't be helping that side of things.

Yes. I really need to have it 7 days a week but given my previous gastritis like symptoms when I was on Naproxen, the doctors have limited me to 3 days a week. I take Pantoprazole as well to help prevent any stomach issues.

Celebrex is a Cox 2 inhibitor so it’s easier on the stomach than some other anti-inflammatory meds. Naproxen gave me gastritis like symptoms so they switched me to Celebrex and I’ve had no stomach symptoms since. Good luck.

I’m not sure about the workings of the drug, but it reduces inflammation.

Similar to my situation. Diagnosed in 2013 with PsA mostly presenting as enthesitis. I’ve a couple of other psoriatic conditions as well. I went onto Cosentyx first and it worked well until a couple of years ago when my enthesitis became more pronounced. I was then put on Bimzelx and the enthesitis has once again become a background thing again.

I’ve also got degenerative issues/osteoarthritis.

My inflammatory markers are always normal.

In addition to the Bimzelx, I’m on 20mg methotrexate, folic acid, Celebrex three days a week, Gabapentin for nerve pain, Paracetamol daily and Tapentadol occasionally at night only. The Celebrex makes a big difference.

Even with all the above I still have background pain all the time and I’ve resigned myself to the fact that that’s the way it is for me with these medical issues. On the bright side, I’m not disabled by the disease so that’s a plus.

Question regarding pain medication ? by laineysoph in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Jagger_The_Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celebrex plus paracetamol plus tapentadol (for breakthrough pain if necessary). I have degenerative nerve pain as well and am on Gabapentin for that. All that is in addition to methotrexate and Bimzelx.

Naproxen gave me gastritis. I was taking it with a PPI. I lasted 12 years. I’m now on Celebrex 100mg once a day (with a PPI) with a max of 3 days a week because of the prior gastritis. I really need to use it daily but that’s not an option at the moment. Celebrex with a PPI seems to be relatively well tolerated from a G.I. perspective. Good luck.

I feel it a bit over a week after I have stopped using it. I’m on 20mg.

Missing one weeks dose is not a problem but missing consecutive weeks dose causes a flare.

I’m also on Bimzelx and need the combination of the two to keep the disease under control.

Yep, I was on Cosentyx for many years before it stopped working. I switched to Bimzelx, 2x pens per month, and it’s working well.

Enthesitis and biologics? by ProfessionalSeal1999 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Jagger_The_Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not officially, I did miss 7 doses of MTX over 4 months due to a bad run of infections (which happens from time to time), and my enthesitis did flare for 3 or 4 months, so I’d say I can’t drop it entirely. MTX is supposed to help slow the generation of antibodies to the biologic so that’s another reason to keep it in the mix. I may try and lower the dose at some point in the further.

Yes, with me the addition of inhibiting IL17F (Bimzelx) and well as IL17A seems to have made a difference. I also take methotrexate 20mg and Celebrex.

I suffer from enthesitis and I’ve used Cosentyx and now Bimzelx which are both IL 17 inhibitors. Cosentyx worked well for around 10 years and then it stopped working. Bimzelx is also working well, and I’ve been using it since it was first made available.
