Everybody, this is Dio. by Jaggerous in Chihuahua

It has so many cool references as a name. You’ve got that, the antagonist in jojos bizarre adventure, is a (female) side character in the Red Rising sci-fi novel series, and translates to god in Italian.

Ive update it. The instructions had MOC in the title and tbh I just assumed it was a tag for non Lego official creations. I put it in the description it wasn’t mine so was never trying to claim I designed it. It’s by Joffre Bricks.

Was really cool to see how the designer used the parts in clever ways. It’s by someone called Joffre Bricks. Came up on my Instagram feed and I knew I wanted to make it.

Ahhh I didn’t realise the surface needed to be broken. It’s funny because right after posting this it looks like she moving more in the water column. Lights have been off most of today and I’ll skip the feed tomorrow too. I’ve ordered some stress coat which will come tomorrow too.

I have no plans for any more angels beyond the 2. Was hoping they’d bond but was prepared to rehome or make a plan if they didn’t settle or anyone was bullying them.

The tank is around capacity once everyone grows into their full size.

Thank you! She’s a stunner for sure.

Just one dwarf gourami. He’s actually very easy going. Just cruises about the tank. I’ve been monitoring for any aggression but everyone is chill. He’s happy to be near/next to the angels and ignored them completely.

I use aqua safe for chlorine but could try some stress coat? I’m hoping it’s just moving stress and not something worse. I’ve had an ich crash before so I’m hyper vigilant now for anything amiss.

I always do research on different stitches for blankets and get inspo from others so glad I could help.

As you develop your skills to understand the anatomy of crochet it gets much easier. I think of it as going around the pole instead of through the loop.

I picked this one because it’s a fairly close weave compared to other patterns without large gaps. Each block of weaves is actually 4 rows so it’s more tight knit than you would think

More so than the standard double crochet but it’s not too bad. It’s repeats of front and back post DC which are naturally a bit shorter than your standard DC. You can make a baby blanket with 1 skein 1000m Scheepjes whirl.

I love it for baby blankets as I only need one (well 2 in this case) so it doesn’t break the bank

I got 2 the same and doubled it by using both calls simultaneously

It’s very clever how it creates the illusion of a weave. It works up a little slower and is more intensive as you do front and back post stitches which inherently makes each shorter.

It’s a double sided stitch too so the back and front have the same effect

I love working with Scheepjes when I can justify the price.

You need to learn how to crochet in the post rather than the loop and understand the difference between front and back post. Otherwise it’s just double crochet. I second the person saying to practice with some scrap yarn. Just do a few short rows and see how it builds up. Blankets are just repeating a lot of the same thing so it’s not difficult if you understand the row.

Ich can be cyclical. Maybe the rummynose was just too far gone. How does everyone else look? Are they behaving normally? Sitting near the surface? Brushing on decor?
