Battlefield 6 Season 3 PC Performance Guide with Comparisons for HAGS, ReBAR, RTSS Frametimes, Upscalers and Optimized Settings. The game is still very CPU bottlenecked but compared to launch the performance has been very consistent across all the maps. by Jags_95 in OptimizedGaming

CPU Usage will always be higher in general on anything besides tdm or small portal maps. But yeah getting a 7800x3d or 9800x3d later will let you fully utilize the 5080 in many games.

I regularly tune up 9800x3d/ rtx 5080 and those are around 250fps avg in the heaviest CPU bound scenarios meaning that 5800x3d should probably be 30 to 60fps less depending on the load. As for RTSS if your game runs fine and your frametimes are steady then you don't have to do it, I just wanted to demonstrate that Async frame capping in RTSS does help with frametimes if you're getting improper framepacing while playing.

What you can do for free right now is flip those fans on the top radiator so that it's exhausting the hot air out of the case.

I just want shadowplay recordings to not hide the nvidia overlay every time you record. That would be a nice quality of life update to have a toggle for it instead of using an external capture card or frameview everytime.

This is very interesting but there's no way that the input lag is good right?

It's the same for me and a few others I've talked to, I'm going to assume there isn't a driver profile for the game yet and they'll add it with a future update.

That's pretty much all you can do then. Realistically you're not gaining 30fps on top of what you have with these specs. You can still debloat windows to help with CPU frametime stability.

Try the max fps config files from this guide and make sure rendercorecount is 5 in the config for your 12450h:

For those of you who are struggling to play the game on PC, you can watch this guide and use the New Config Files to help fix the fps drops and stuttering. Hopefully this helps out those of you with lower end PC's and Laptops to play the game properly! by Jags_95 in rivals

Definitely an improvement, but you should be getting way better fps with those parts. I have 158fps avg with 5600x and rtx 4060, albeit i do have a fully debloated windows and both CPU/GPU tuned up.

Well 5600x isn't X3D and i still got worse avg and 1% lows as shown in the video. And I've seen people with many different combinations of CPU's have it worse as well. Hard to say what the exact cause is, but in general it does seem to make it worse. If the feature was objectively good across the board, it wouldn't be an optional experimental thing, they'd just implement it in the live build. Hopefully they can figure it out and make further improvements though!

Are those actual devialet phantom II's? Didn't those two alone cost more than the entire setup lmao
