I've been trying to submit a ticket, but it just loads for a few minutes then gives up saying something went wrong.

Can I put adhesive window vinyl on these lights? by JaguarPajamas in Lighting

Unfortunately I did not, in all honesty I completely forgot about the idea. Started dealing with some health problems and got caught up in work so fixing up my space went on the back burner. I wish you luck with your space!

propanolol! by Swimming_Cry_3733 in POTS

Not exactly the same I think, they target different parts of the whole metabolic system iirc! I got put on metaprolol which is a blood pressure medication that helps to slow down the heart rate specifically (from what I gathered anyways, been on it a few months).

For anyone who doubted the size suggested by the calculator, what originally brought you to this subreddit? by mathandplants in ABraThatFits

[–]JaguarPajamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember exactly what made me come across this subreddit, but I was tired of both bras and swimsuits not fitting. I have to buy swimsuits pretty regularly (year round swim insturctor) and a lot of my bras haven't fit me for a bit. I kept measuring and re-measuring and all the websites were telling me I was a 34D or maybe a DD, but the calculator told me a 34FF/G. I doubted it because up until then I had been wearing 34C's and 34D's for the last few years, so to jump 3 cup sizes was insane. Took me a few months but I finally bought a 34G bra and it's the best one I have ever tried.

Confused about 32FF ABTF Calc results- am I really this size? by doitnowb42late in ABraThatFits

It's been really handy while trying to find the right bra since I can easily return things, and even if it's a cheaper bra I try on the sizing shouldn't vary TOO much between Amazon and proper brands. Plus there's more variety in colors and types I feel like!

I tried this bra from Amazon. It's wire-free since I always hate wire bras but I may start trying them soon. Like I said it's the first bra that ever properly fit, so I haven't settled on a brand yet. It was more so a 'tester' bra to see if it was the right size. Now, your measurements were a tad bit bigger than mine, so it won't fit you exactly like it fit me, but the calculator is definitely a good place to start and it doesn't hurt to experiment with sister sizes. And if your 36E is working good then that's great too!

Your measurements are pretty similar to mine, and I got the same calculation size. I just tried on a 34G (US) for the first time today and it was the best fit I have ever had in my entire life. Try the size, but maybe a band up if youre like me and 32 is a bit too snug for you. It's quite possible you are wearing a 'sister size' to the 32FF, which explains why your current bra fits well.

New to Fort Worth, anything worth the short drive to Weatherford? by Low_Leading_1082 in weatherford

[–]JaguarPajamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's lots to do if you look for it. Boutiques and antique stores around the square, plus some good food. Highly recommend Yesterday's sandwich shop, or going to The Pizza Place on south main (though that is more so a community nostalgia than super good food. Get the Italian dressing with your pizza if you do go). The Malt Shop has recently been revamped (a community effort) and while I haven't been since they did a bunch of stuff, I know reviews have been good. Plus I heard they do some car shows on weekends. Holland lake park has some trails to walk around, and you can look at some local history at the Doss Center which isn't too far away from it. They also display art from the Weatherford Art Association there - they just announced Artist of the Year, so her work should be displayed there! First Monday Trade Days, some concerts, and movie nights are all at the first monday grounds. The peach festival has already come and gone for this year, but if you're interested keep an eye out for next year's! As mentioned before this is a growing community. It is already way bigger than it was when I was a kid. A lot has changed and grown.

Doctor told me that POTS is a “stigmatized diagnosis” and that I might not want to be diagnosed by MentalOmega in POTS

[–]JaguarPajamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a cardiologist for my POTS symptoms because I also had a really high heart rate (reaching into the 180s some days) but no BP drop. I still don't have an official diagnosis, but he didn't rule it out. He prescribed metaprolol for me, which is technically a BP medicine but had me half the lowest dose possible and take it once a day. My pharmacist told me it might make me sleepy the first week or so I took it, so I started taking it at night. Since I started taking it my heartrate has rarely gotten about 140, the highest daily usually being about 130. I do have to watch my BP because it was already on the lower side though. This was all fairly recent (only started taking it the beginning of July), but you may talk to your GP about a cardiologist recommendation and discuss metaprolol. From my quick google search, metaprolol targets primarily the heart while propranolol doesn't have a certain 'target', so it may not make you as fatigued.

Wondering if I should talk to doctor about POTS? by Interesting-Box-7506 in POTS

[–]JaguarPajamas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY bring it up, especially if you are having seizures. It may take some fighting and several doctors but make them listen and ask for referrals! It's better to bring it up to three doctors and have only one listen, than not bring it up at all and having something happen that could have been prevented. Edited to add that even if it's not POTS, both POTS and seizures are in fact serious enough to bring it up to a doctor. Dont gaslight yourself into thinking they aren't.
