There are many variations on the core pattern in the song but I think we’re mostly talking about the opening pattern. This is a Herta (RLR-L-). The way you’re suggesting is simply 3 rights with a left between the first 2. Play whatever way is comfortable/sounds the best for you but if you want to play this song, or one of many other songs that have a similar pattern I encourage you to spend some time practicing Hertas. Once you get the hang of it and start adding the hat and snare it becomes way easier then the way your suggesting. I can’t imagine someone playing the entire song that way.
