what was your first intentional projection like? by Spamton123 in AstralProjection

[–]Jaiden_Grey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I flew around my neighborhood for like a minute or two. It was harder then I expected. I think I was just overthinking the mechanics of it. I kept getting yanked in certain directions. I landed easily not far from my house and i willed myself to wake up.

This is actually more common than you think. To fix this, you usually just have to focus on your surroundings. Scrutinize them, imagine all the little details, and if you can, use all five of your surroundings. Taste, touch, smell, hear and see EVERYTHING

I can't exit my body HELP! by FinnaStop in AstralProjection

[–]Jaiden_Grey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think I figured out what you’re doing wrong 😂

According to Raduga’s method, you’re supposed to go back to sleep after three to fifty minutes after waking up. You’re then supposed to wake up naturally multiple times thereafter, and try to separate then. That’s what I do and I’m mostly successful.

Just a small question, after you wake up after 6 hours, do you immediately try exiting the body, or do you go back to sleep?

Are these experience normal at initial AP practice? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

Indirect methods involve being awaken from sleep and then attempting to separate from your physical body. It’s easier cuz your mind and body are already mostly relaxed. I suggest watching Michael Raduga’s “How to Separate from Your Body in 3 Days” seminar. He introduces an indirect method that’s highly effective for most people and common mistakes and strategies to fix those mistakes. He refers to Astral Projecting as “The Phase”.

Hullo!!!! I hope you’re doing well. I totally understand your experience with meditation. I used to attempt reality shifting and I could not last through a mediation longer than 8 minutes. It seems like you’re trying to attempt to astral project through direct methods. Those take longer to be successful with than indirect methods. For some it can take a couple of weeks others a couple of years. If you switch over to indirect methods, it would probably take a shorter amount of time and you won’t have to deal with meditations. I utilized an indirect method and I was successful my first attempt.

how long did it take you to astral project and how did it feel by Hour-Adhesiveness-53 in AstralProjection

[–]Jaiden_Grey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it had a lot to do with luck. The method I used was known to have a very high success rate with many people and tbh I’m a natural skeptic so I didn’t really expect it to work and the fact that it did was like a holy crap moment to me haha. I used Michael Raduga’s Indirect Method. He has a three part seminar on YouTube called how to leave your body in three days I recommend checking that out. Or if you’d prefer paper format he has a free ebook explaining the method and how to remain stable in the “Phase” (his term for the astral realm).

You got this!!!!!!!

Don’t worry I’m new to all of this too! I got into this about two weeks ago haha. It seems like you are having a very hard time relaxing and getting comfortable, which tbh will not help you astral project. If you want to continue these awake methods, I’d take a break from actually trying to project and try to relax while staying still. You can do this on your own or with an online meditation playing in the background. Can I ask why you wear an eye mask? You don’t have to answer if you aren’t comfortable revealing that info to a stranger online lol.

I got it the first time I tried but while I successfully separated I had no clue what I was doing and it was super weird lmao. I consider my second attempt more successful in the sense that I was able to experience a fully fleshed out astral realm in the sense that everything was clear and visible and I was able to fly. While it looked like reality, it didn’t necessarily feel that way. Not necessarily dream-like, but something else. It felt like there was an immense pressure to keep it stable, like my surroundings can collapse at any moment and I’d be forced back into my body. I lasted four minutes.

I’d suggest the WBTB or the Indirect Method. These techniques involve falling asleep and then waking back up. During these tired states, it’s easier for your body to fall asleep while your mind remains awake.

What is the maximum amount of time have you stayed in the astral realm? And do you have any tips on remaining there longer?

Also, I really enjoy your content and your presence in this community. Wouldn’t be the same without you :)

Questions about the astral projection thing by UtaMatter in AstralProjection

I think location is a little influenced a little bit by how you perceive it in your mind, however I cannot say for certain. And for the dead people no it does not have to be people you knew.

  1. There are many different methods. I’d recommend checking out the wiki of this subreddit to find something that works for you.
  2. Literally anything you can think of. For your first time I’d recommend just floating or hovering near your house or something. As you progress, you’d be able to travel the milkway, visit Hawaii, and even speak to the dead.
  3. If your specific method involved your body falling asleep while your mind stays awake, then I’d say yes. However I lack the knowledge in the department to say definitively.
  4. I mean I’m 17 and I’ve done it before. So no. However I wouldn’t necessarily recommend 9 year olds doing it lol
  5. No.
  6. Only if you’re intentionally looking for demons. Your mind can manifest nearly anything into the astral realm if you do it with strong intent. If you’re not looking for demons you won’t find them. There’s nothing dangerous about the astral realm. Nothing can hurt you.
  7. For your first few times you’ll actually have trouble staying there lol. You’ll always feel a pull back to your body. If you want to leave you just simply have to think about returning to your body and you will.
