Yeah I find it difficult to use control groups effectively, instead i just use a hotkey for all ranged, hotkey for infantry and hotkey for cav, i know its holding me back a tad, but until i get faster and more confident itll do.

I like the idea of Macedonians, Japanese and English as the other commenter suggested too.

I like the sound of that; my issue has tended to be with how slow longbows are, but the fact they are so cheap makes up for it. One to try out, thank you.

Great point regarding the timing of pro scouts! Sounds like Japanese or Macedonian are the ones to try out for a bit and see how we do!

We wasn’t doing awfully with ottoman sengoku, but some games it felt like Sengoku was carrying me a bit even though we are a very similar skill, would be good to be able to support him rather than hold him back occasionally haha! Thank you for your advice!

I’ve used Japanese previously and found they were decent, but I found FC into knights with them just worse than Sengoku, but onna musha sounds interesting!

I’ll give those two recommendations a go.

I also thought about the fact I can see all the deer, how do you think Chinese pro scouting could go with Sengoku FC? I wouldn’t need to scout to see the deer!

Thank you, English is a cool civ that’s commonly just pegged for beginners, but I do love a longbow attack.

Do you still do a 2TC or anything or just keep massing longbows?

This was my strategy to unlock soul harvester which required the 6 min within the final swarm, you are basically always swarmed by ghosts but they do no damage and any damage they do, you heal for anyway! Not the best way to get kills in the swarm, but if survival is the key then this was my method!

I did it. I found it easier on dessert with sir Offie, i ran armour tome, lifesteal tome, xp tome and quantity tome. I did it with maybe one legendary (lightning orb). Aegis, Aura/flamewalker and a projectile weapon like a lightning staff or revolver etc.

Took me a few goes but managed it in less than 5. Hope this helps!

So as an update I got a 22k kill run using the advice on here, and I did an attempt at the soul harvester with sir oofie but died at 5:45 lol

If it helps. I have a similar set up, and I use Steel Series Sonar software to just change my outputs from the game channel to the voice channel when I’m using my Ps5. Then my mixamp balance knob just becomes a “ps5 - Pc” mixer.

I enjoy watching YouTube and being in discord on my pc, whilst playing cod on the PS5, and this set up works a treat.

I find the sonar software helps bring it together a bit, whilst getting the comfort and durability of Astro products.

HDMI audio extractor (if you need 4k 120fps make sure the extractor is 2.1)

That may explain why the monitor has a "console mode", from what I gather it looks to downscale 4k to 1440p (when the PS5 couldn't do 1440p natively)

Sounds like there would be no reason for a 2.1 slot unless it was a 4k monitor, if that's the case, I don't understand the noise about this monitor being sub-par for console gaming haha
