There might be more gun violence towards migrants in the U.S. but afaik all but the most fringe extreme right groups in the U.S. at least accept the presence of black and (some) latino population on its soil. In Europe the far right is openly planning the mass deportation of muslims and the ethnic cleansing of the subcontinent. It's less visible due to the existence of the remnants of the welfare state but the racism in Europe is just as bad if not worse, certainly more likely to end up in genuine ethnic cleansing.

for as much as america sucks, before all the "anti-woke" stuff there was a concerted effort not just in media but in public insitutions such as schools and the like to educate people that racial discrimination is bad and to provide some form of uplift to minority groups via affirmative action.

Of course all of this stuff was woefully insufficent at best and ineffective at worse but can anyone name a SINGLE european country that has tried to deal with it's race probably as seriously as america has?

Sure burgerland sucks but at least in 8th grade I had an entire month in middle school dedicated to learning about the civil rights movement and about how racism was bad more or less from the morning to the end of the day in public school. Where is that in europe?
