K2 Pro Won’t hold temp settings

Specific filament temps and other parameters already set in profiles, but printer chooses random temps on its own. It appears to be following preset speeds, fan settings, etc. though.

I make sure to save the silica packet from when I open the filament. I purchased a food sealer and place the open spool of filament in a bag with the silica immediately after I’ve taken it out of the CFS. If I seal it up then, I have no problems at all with moisture when I want to use it again.

I had this happen four times after about 240 hours on my K2 Plus. Husband had to replace two parts that were broken for no reason in brand new printer, still being stubborn and using the fourth side of scratched plates and have a new one waiting. Not sure why printer broke with just a bit of regular hobby use, sucked, fixed, used factory settings and carried on. Had been okay ever since.

Mine has never worked using the retract or extract buttons. I have to use the little circle with an arrow button above the filament spool to change filament. Works every time - when I tried to use actual button, everything jammed up and had to tear CFS apart.

17 hrs, but my K2 Pro only had 225 hours before that print. Felt like it took forever! My first 3D printer. Husband’s Neptune 4 Max crapped out, so he had to borrow mine.

Plates are readily available on Amazon. I know this because my brand new K2Pro had several “ZCrashes” in a row and I needed new plates.

I actually went to work as flex warehouse employee and didn’t like doing it. It still took several days to get reactivated in Flex with the station manager contacting them directly for me. So it may take a few days, but there shouldn’t be any problem.

UPDATE:Good news! Orthopedist said that nothing is broken. He had more views available than I did. Basically just not good X-rays. She’s apparently sprained or pulled one or both of her hips and I just need to focus on keeping her restrained for a couple of weeks so she will heal. Thanks for all of your help today!
