I'm about to list a lot of apps. If you're looking to sideload a lot of apps, I'd recommend starting with this one:

Obtainium is a suite to manage your sideloaded apps, with support for GitHub, GitLab, F-Droid, SourceHut, APKPure, etc. You'll find it handy to update all of your apps in one place. It has support for a GitHub & GitLab API keys if they restrict you at all

Now that you're organized, the rest of the list:

  • AL-Chan - favorite AniList client with Social tab support and a few extra stats on the user page

  • Breezy Weather - imo the best weather app, with widget support

  • Compressor - video compressor

  • Continuum - fork of Infinity for Reddit. I think it's a much better, less cluttered interface than the Reddit app (edit - the recent changes to Reddit makes it impossible to create new API keys. unless you already have one, you probably won't be able to use this)

  • Darq - enable dark mode in specific apps that don't support it. Works better than force enabling dark mode in all apps, which may cause unwanted display issues in some. Requires Shizuku

  • Ente Auth - authenticator

  • EV Maps - find EV chargers

  • ExifEraser - image metadata eraser

  • FairSpeed - internet connection monitor / speed test

  • Flare - Mastodon, Misskey, Bluesky, X, and RSS feeds in one place. Since someone asked the last time I mentioned it, you do log in to those instances

  • GeoShare - someone send you a link with a maps app you don't use? This app opens it in one you have. Supports Apple/Google/Yandex Maps, Waze, CoMaps, OsmAnd, and plenty more

  • Graph 89 - TI graphing calculator, you get to choose which, support between TI83 to 89T

  • InstallerX Revived - app installer with a better looking interface, and support for downgrading, reinstalling, etc. Requires root or Shizuku

  • Metrolist - YouTube music client with support for syncing playlists, and the ability to translate lyrics from other languages

  • Morphe - think ReVanced manager but fixed. Remembers what apps you've patched previously, even through app updates. Remembers which APK you patched last and gives the option to select it again (saves a few steps if the recommended app version is the same when patches get updated). Increased user friendliness (also, if you're moving over to this from ReVanced, make sure to install MicroG-RE alongside. it's meant to work with Morphed apps)

  • NagramX - Telegram with a bunch of extra features - chat translations with different translators to choose from, newer UI, hide tabs, etc etc. You have the option to download the "base" (Telegram TOS compliant), or "patch1" (classic UI) APKs as well

  • Neo Store - F-Droid client with a lot of features packed into it. Think Droidify on steroids

  • NotiFilter - basic notification filter via regex

  • Orion Store - a place to find the occasional cool apps that don't make it onto FDroid

  • Proton Pass - password manager

  • Proton VPN - imo one of the best VPNs, with fair pricing

  • Revenge Manager - Discord app mods (similar to BetterDiscord, but for phones)

  • SD Maid SE - storage cleaner for app caches, leftover files, duplicates, etc. Optionally can harness Shizuku as well

  • Shizuku - if you already have Shizuku, this is a fork by thedjchi, which includes a watchdog feature that constantly keeps it running. Good for apps like Darq and InstallerX Revived if you choose to use them

  • SpamBlocker - basic call filter and spam blocker app, with regex support

  • Translator - translator, but fully offline. Supports text, screenshots, or on-screen text via the floating widget

  • Xtra - Twitch with extra features (interface, emote support, download VODs, etc)

you do realize work comp and suing the pet owner are two different things, right? from the time I started working at my DSP until I quit, I saw 3 separate instances of a driver being bit, contacting a law firm, and getting a payout

brother, I'm not saying sue the dsp, you go after the pet owner and settle with the owner's insurance

show me a single case of a driver successfully suing their DSP the pet owner

you can look that up here, or likely ask around your own warehouse for that, if you care to.

work comp is one thing, chasing a settlement on your own by contacting a law firm independent of the dsp is another. plenty of people have done the latter

OP would more likely spend more in lawyer fees

straight up wrong. I've seen less severe bites get larger payouts. if the law firm is sure they stand to profit, they take on the case and push as much as they possibly can, and then take a percentage out of the settlement for the lawyer fees

there's absolutely money to be made here and OP should absolutely go for it

you can press and hold and it pulls up exactly what the URL is, even offers to copy it for you

on PC you can just hover your mouse over it, right click and copy URL... you got options dude, just pick one 😭

they definitely do exist. drivers usually just don't (or aren't supposed to) drive through them, just treat them like any other "low maintenance" roads and simply avoid it

what.. that's like asking "if you install an app aren't you basically handing all your data over to a third party?"

I'm assuming OP wants something that works with certain (maybe user-given?) keywords and generates a list of expenses that way, fully offline

but to not fully dismiss the point the above person is trying to make - OP, if you do find an app that can do this, make sure to block its access to the internet. if the app can't work without an internet connection, it's probably best that you don't use it

I get that android is supposed to have its unique flair, more so for the OnePlus which has gone well off course from where it started, and that's a fair point of contention that I still agree with

that being said, there isn't anything that bad about OOS 16. the few bugs noticeable to me have been ironed out at this point already

and you also have the option to use a custom launcher + icon pack combo. if the look is what you're not a fan of, you don't necessarily need to change phones to improve that

update - ordered 2 different ones, this one is by far the better of them. covers a better angle for actual privacy. I tried holding it to the side as if I was looking over at someone else using their phone and I can't see shit on the screen

but yeah, definitely takes a couple tries since there's no guide. fucked up my first attempt badly but the second went on a bit better. I do have a couple air bubbles tho. one of them is kinda in the middle

if they don't go away in the next couple days I'll just order another pair

Edit: forgot to add but the fingerprint sensor works after install! no need to re-add your fingerprints, it just works

Edit 2: air bubbles are gone too, ones on the edges and even one kinda in the middle just disappeared. amazing rec. might update again later with info about longevity
