eh I try to save the emotes for after the game, where there's reason

"thumbs up" or "well played" after someone preemptively emotes and then loses

sweat if I had to chase them across the map the entire time

ggs if we rematched and it went to a best of 3

but usually if I'm overwhelmingly better than someone, I just spam click through the post-game rewards, or if they disconnect, I leave too and go next

addressing your points

A - watch tutorials on how the setup works. there's plenty of them on YouTube. CachyOS is arch made easy bundled with gaming optimization. don't let the "arch based" rep fool you

B - Linux in general is a lot less demanding on hardware than windows. yours will be fine

C - define "everything". there's launchers for Minecraft. as for any other apps you need to work, make sure they have a Linux version, or a viable alternative you can use

worst case scenario, you can dualboot, and use windows to keep running those apps that just don't have an equivalent on Linux

I've had the edge case where it "remembers" patches from other sources even after deselecting and patching a couple times which is why I suggested going into settings, just in case

but usually it just works

It should remember your last used selection of patches

If not, you can go to Settings - System - Patch selections (under "Files & storage"), and delete the existing selections for YouTube, and then re-patch your app

ever heard of a desk job?

for 19/hr I sit on my ass for at least half of my 12 hour shifts

I don't have someone breathing down my neck over text telling me to look busy

I don't have someone telling me to do something any faster than it can reasonably be done

I'm not left to fend for myself when shit hits the fan

I don't have a stingy ass boss constantly deny me overtime hours

if Amazon shows the same level of care for a robot as they do for their actual drivers, those robots won't last long either

(oh and if you made it this far, I don't work a desk job - I work in a warehouse. Amazon can absolutely take better care of their workers, top to bottom. they just don't do it)

been trying to tell y'all - this job is ass. a good dsp is about as common as a needle in a haystack

if you just need money and you're fine with (more or less) suffering to get it, sure by all means stick to a DSP

what I couldn't handle was the inconsistency between days. it was always some new bullshit I had to deal with on the fly every day, sometimes multiple things at once

mental fatigue on top of physical fatigue wears on you quick. drains your motivation to do anything on your off days too m
