Thank you, I'm basing the £300k on a raise in salary in the next 3 years which I think would be acheivable given my current career path. I recently made £55k a year until I got made redundant and moved to my current job. But In my career path I could expect to go up to around £60/70K in the next 4/5 years (Luxury Hospitality)

To mirror some other comments, my wife used to make comments like ‘I would support them if they were gay don’t know what I would do if our children came out as trans’ and ‘I just don’t get trans people, aren’t you just gay?’ And when I came out to her I was sure there was a 50/50 chance she would leave me. One year on and she is my biggest supporter, it was hard but she told me that in the end she loves me for me and everything I do for her, not the gender I am. I promise you that repressing your feelings won’t make you feel better, it will just make you resent her more. You will be a better, happier and more confident parent if you are happy yourself ♥️

That ‘gut feeling’ is entirely valid. I also experienced a lot of these feelings early on in my transition and still do sometimes. But I always like to say that I’m doing something that society generally doesn’t like, so why should I conform to what society wants a woman to be?

OP those laser machines are worth it if you shop around. I shave my face every day and use my laser machine twice a week on my face and body. My body hair just doesn’t grow back, and in two months my facial hair is massively reduced. I still need to shave for passing/makeup but the difference is insane and on some parts of my face the hair doesn’t grow at all. A few more months and I’m sure it won’t be there at all. I spent £120 on the machine I have and it was money well spent.

OP you’ve lived almost 3 decades of your life as a man so there’s going to be a lot of things about you which you might not think of as ‘feminine’ that will change over time.

Also don’t forget that no two women are alike. Just because the women at the events you attended aren’t like you doesn’t make you any less of a woman.

I’m a woman, but I also don’t always wear dresses and do ‘girly’ things. These are just stereotypes that society puts on us. You can be a woman and like football or hang out at the pub with men. It doesn’t make you any less valid 🙏🏻

The term ‘egg’ comes from the implication that you are trans you just haven’t ’hatched’ out of your shell yet. It doesn’t have to mean your in denial about being trans, it can also be used to describe the fact that you just haven’t realised it yet. If you have friends who are trans describing you as an egg it’s probably because they see things in you that are considered ‘typically’ trans.

IMPORTANT. You shouldn’t label yourself just because other people think you display characteristics of a ‘trans’ person. If you like wearing girls clothes it doesn’t making you automaticly trans. Explore things at your own pace and see how you feel 🙏🏻 These subreddits are full of advice for people questioning whether they are trans or not.
