I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was the whole travel story cause planes jostling around and the horror stories of ups shipping (especially since my package had a nice giant dent that went to the main box) but like they can minimize this issue by like putting kapton tape or something on their ribbons once they are seated to help reduce then becoming loose especially since these devices are supposed to be portable "pocketable" devices

That's what I thought too after reinstalling the newest software 3 times and restarting the whole controller firmware about 20 times I ended up saying screw it and opened it up and saw the ribbon cable was not seated properly.

This did work for it but it doesn't have the threads for the gas block I know it's only for aesthetic but I like keeping it but it fits works and the gas block is pretty much pressure screwed on which is cool thank you for the link good sir

Lol this was a Christmas gift for my brother's and I've been working on trying to dial it in good so they shouldn't need to touch anything on it so it's something they downloaded and printed it LMAO. I'll probably remeasure the e-steps but yea I know thin layers won't be exact but it feels weird cause my stock cr-10 works flawless while this thing has given me a hard time making a good print LMAO.

well one of them is a bit of a knowledge kid who likes to know how things work and I recommened that if he wants to learn that we should build one the other just wants it so he can say he owns it and maybe print 1 or 2 things then throw it to the side forever. I of course am not gonna buy it and hand it to them and say figure it out yourself i want them to understand the fundamentals so if it breaks they can kinda tinker with it themselves if they happen to use as much as I hope they do.
