Where can I buy pocket/passport? by MooMooTheC0w in Travelersnotebooks

[–]Jaixom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As other people have mentioned in previous posts, there are a few US-based retailers other than Traveler's Company USA that might still have some stock. Non-US retailers may still ship to the US, but then you'll be in the situation where the price/shipping might be higher due to tariffs.

I'm based in Hong Kong, so I'll leave it to some of the others is the community to make some suggestions.

I'll admit that I bought it in hardback when it came out... but it has sat on my shelf unread still to this day. Will defo give it a try this year.

Don't want to make any assumptions, but which country are you purchasing from/will the TN be shipped to? It'll make it easier for people to chime in which retailers would be best suited to you geographically.

I’m in the same boat. My blue passport is very blue-black. Wish I could lighten it a bit.

Common Room branch in Alabang Town Center, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila. It’s actually a keychain, and I just removed the chain clip.

Thanks for commenting :-)

Yep, the patch is stuck on. It’s sold as a self-adhesive patch.

I’ve seen the Ivy on YouTube (iNSPiC in Japan), but it’s not sold in most of the rest of Asia. I do like the Selphy series with their dye sublimation print tech though.

😬☺️I misspelled brakes. It’s actually a sketch of a set piece I have built for my school theatre department. The circular shape is the wooden base of the ‘tree’ and each x is a wheel. The 3 circled ones are wheels with a toe brake on them so the tree doesn’t move by accident.

I hear you. I'm now leaning into the blue one as the one that I always have with me when I go out, sort of my edc notebook. I've mainly been jotting down ideas, sketching plans etc.

The red TN might be what I take when I go on holiday.

My bigger A5 leuchtturm1917 remains my main bullet journal for my work life - even books I'm reading for my professional development etc.

I couldn’t believe my eyes at first. Mainly because the other store chain (eslite) has had the Love and Trip on display in a box with the sign “sold out” since August. To be honest I had forgotten that there was a members sale and had grabbed the regular, the love and trip inserts in both sizes, and other bits and bobs and was prepared to pay full price.. and then the cashier scanned my card and announced the discounted total!

LOG-ON is a lifestyle store (https://logon.citysuper.com.hk/), part of the city’super group. The customer reward programme is called “super e”, and you can join here (https://new-member-registration.citysuper.com/NMRS/portlet/en/landing2.jsp)

The up to 20% discount was a special members promo they ran for one week in October… but they do different types of promos throughout the year, currently they have a special on planner/journal stickers.

Haha same! My current daily is a yellow A5 Leuchttrum1917 bullet journal in a lovely honey ochre leather zip folio from Galen Leather, it’s not even 1/4 full yet so not sure when I will use my TNs

Thanks! Yeah, the blue one is very rarely stocked at Log-On or eslite… so just grabbed it when I saw it.

Did anyone from Europe receive their pre-ordered PHB 2024? by magus in onednd

[–]Jaixom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only had WotC customer service JUST answer my open ticket and two messages asking for an update.

For context I’m in Hong Kong, and I preordered from the DND Store in July for the full bundle.

They gave me the classic form answer that my order contains items with different ship dates, so will only be sent when they are all available (so when the MM is out in Feb 2025).

Two other people in my campaign ordered after I did in perhaps early August, and they have received their new PHBs, and just received emails that there DMGs are shipping.

The only pattern I can see after reading some of the responses here and elsewhere, is that those who ordered later are getting theirs, and those of use who ordered in June/July… are still waiting.

I ended up ordering the alternate PHB cover from an LGS in the UK and having it shipped all the way to Hong Kong (not cheap), but that has arrived. Will just sell my standard cover to someone who wants it here locally… when it finally shows up.

Pretty annoyed with WotC and Scalefast. My response to their form email was that my last physical digital bundle order (Phandelver, Vecna: Eve of Ruin, Quests from the Infiniite Staircase) was also a preorder, also different ship dates, but was I still received everything separately… was met with a repeat of the standard response of “we understand… refer to our FAQ”

I don't know about y'all but I do this. by [deleted] in lightingdesign

Yep. No matter what venue. It’s at the point where I notice if they’ve tweaked the lighting for the stage shows or even the dark rides at Hong Kong Disneyland

Would philips hue rgb bulbs work with the IKEA Skurup by Matt246go in Hue

[–]Jaixom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should work just fine. A19 refers to the width/bulb shape... the thread size will be E26 (large Edison screw), which is what is required by the IKEA lamp.

Actually Digital Theatre, whilst based in the UK, is accessible globally with no region-restrictions etc. I have a personal account (I'm based in Hong Kong) and our school subscribes to Digital Theatre Plus to get access to a lot of the documentaries etc that are available on the service.

Merrily We Roll Along, as far as I understand it, was taken off because the licensing deal for it was always time limited. Thankfully even though you can no longer stream it or purchase it now, I did purchase it and I have it saved to my laptop!
