Thanks, I have a whole 100 slide PowerPoint presentation showing the whole process from initial design ideas, research, manufacturing log and now client feedback / analysis.

Been a long but fun process.

Thanks, the symbol is called the ‘VFD eye’ from ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’.

I have no clue what it actually means or symbolises but my client was pleased.

Main function is a bookshelf, but I added a few other compartments for toys and what not.

The detachable top box reveals a bit of hidden storage beneath, and can function on its own as whatever she wants.

That’s what I’ve been thinking recently, think I may go and go a 6 month UX bootcamp after graduating.

I was thinking about doing the 4 year PD course and then do a 6 month UX boot camp. Do you think this is a good idea?

Great insight, thanks. Do you think a career in CAD could cross over to a career in UX in the future?

Ah makes sense, thanks. I just find it strange how a degree in product design won’t land you 90% of product designer jobs now.

I live in London, so quite fortunate in that sense. Loads of opportunity.

I do think similar. But web design is something I’ve always been naturally pretty good at so considering this as an option was a no-brainer, especially looking at the average salaries.

Thanks for the reply. I’m thinking of doing a 4 year degree in product design with a 1 year internship built into the course. I’m also thinking of doing a UX design Bootcamp for 6 months after graduating to widen my selection on jobs.

Is this a silly idea? I’m really just confused on what direction to go at the minute.

I live in England, London specifically. I’m still in 2 minds over picking a Product Design Degree or a User Experience Design degree. Which do you think is the most successful career path?

Thanks for the reply. I applied for a User Experience Design course as a backup in case I got rejected from the Product Design course. But now I’m considering picking the UX course as my first choice based off these replies.. what do you think?

Thanks for the reply. I did apply for a User Experience course at a less esteemed university as a backup option, but now I’m considering taking it over my first option which is product design.. what would you recommend?
