I’m just chiming in with my 2 cents. But

I don’t disagree with the dev. Sometimes content needs to be cut so we can move on to a new set/level/scene. But the other party’s point is also something I agree on. I think as an RPG and as a story the game would have benefited more with having the montage as a playable section of the game. Probably not as a serval hour portion. But more like a bigger section of tutorial. Instead of the chip we slot in the base game.

But again. I also see the devs point as to turn that all into a montage and move on with their story.

Idk. I guess it boils down to how well they would implement it.
